438,000 square meters of housing or 18.3 per cent of the annual plan commissioned in Tatarstan in 2014

On March 1 at a meeting at Tatarstan Government House Minister of Construction, Architecture, Housing and Municipal Economy Irek Faizullin reported that 438,000 square meters of housing or 18.3 per cent of the annual plan had been commissioned in Tatarstan by February 28, 2014.
The meeting was held by Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov in video conference format with participation of all municipalities.
In particular, it was reported that 12 houses with a total area of 41,200 square meters for 697 apartments have been commissioned under the social mortgage programme.
In 2014, Tatarstan Presidential State Housing Foundation will build 11 houses with a total area of 41,492 square meters under the rental housing construction programme. In particular, eight houses for Innopolis employees in Verkhny Uslon region, 119-apartment house for workers of IT-park in Naberezhnye Chelny, 156-apartment house for specialists of SEZ “Alabuga”, 44-apartment house in Kazan will be built under the programme.
It was further reported that 309 orphans will be provided with housing in 2014.
As of today, six certificates amounting to 29,890 million roubles have been issued to provide housing for large families with five and more children. By and large, 43 large families will move to new apartments in 2014.
Irek Faizullin also reported about the progress of construction of corporate housing for police workers within the framework of the complex crime prevention programme for 2011-2014 in Tatarstan. It is planned to build 40 administrative and residential complexes in 19 municipal regions in 2014.
Speaking about implementation of health system modernization programme and construction of modular feldsher-midwife stations in 2014, Irek Faizullin said that 33 foundations had been laid in 23 municipal regions, 24 feldsher-midwife stations had been manufactured at the plant, six modules were being assembled and three stations had been completed.

On 18 May ay the CIPR conference in Nizhniy Nogorod the Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Roman Shaykhutdinov, the Rector of the Innopolis University Aleksandr Gasnikpov and the Vice-rector of the University Yevgeny Bobrov will take part at round tables session of the conference.
Experts will discuss the role of Tatarstan and Innopolis as one of the key technological centers of the country and how regional innovative platforms help to solve tasks of the whole Russian industry. A special emphasis will be placed on the digital transformation of the oil and gas sector and how large clusters and scientific and technological centers are becoming drivers of industry change.
On 16 May, speaking at a meeting in the Government House of the republic held by the regional Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin with participation of the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the Minister of Agriculture and Food of the republic Marat Zyabbarov reported that the sowing of spring crops is in full swing in the republic with 1m 38 thousand hectares or 61 per cent of the planned have been sown.
On May 14, on the sidelines of the XVII International Economic Forum “Russia-the Islamic World: KazanForum”, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin and Head of the Federal Service for Accreditation Dmitry Volvach signed an agreement on interaction and cooperation in the development of the halal industry.
On May 14, Prime Minister of Tajikistan Kokhir Rasulzoda, who arrived on a working visit in Kazan to take part in the events of the XVII International Economic Forum “Russia-the Islamic World: KazanForum”, was met by Prime Minister of the republic Aleksey Pesoshin and other officials at the Kazan International Airport.
