Awards presented to winners of Regional youth forum

On March 5 Tatarstan Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov visited final exhibition of Regional youth forum 2014 at Kazan Tennis Academy.
46 best projects were divided in 8 categories: “youth science and innovations”, “Architecture and urban environment”, “I am a businessman”, “Initiative”, “Safety”, “Inspiration”, “Information flow”, “Start for future”.
Chief state inspector of traffic safety Rifkat Minnikhanov presented the projects in “Safety” category.
Ildar Khalikov was interested in Smart Parking project presented by students from IT lyceum. Smart Parking is a free application for smart phones for searching spare places at parking sites. Head of Tatarstan Government asked Minister of Information and Communication to work out the project.
Postgraduate students of Kazan State University of Architecture and Engineering presented long-lasting water-proof material for flat roofs made of self-consolidating concrete.
Students of Kazan Federal University presented the project “Best reward is kids smiles” that implies creation of special swings for all children, including wheelchair users.
Ildar Khalikov presented awards to winners of the contest, and wished young people to realize their ideas.
The Regional youth forum was held for the fourth time to provide conditions, discussion, assessment and promotion of socially important, innovative and public ideas and projects.
Young people aged 16-30, students of higher and secondary educational institutions, activists of children’s and youth public associations take part in the contest.
On 15 December, speaking at a meeting of the competition committee of the regional public competition “The Manager of the Year” about its results in 2025, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin said that the list of 155 participants (nominees), who are heads of enterprises and organizations from various industries and sectors of the economy, for the competition was formed based on recommendations from regional ministries and departments, city and district municipalities, employers' associations and the Federation of Trade Unions of the republic.
On 6 December speaking at a regional meeting held by the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov in the Government House of the republic with all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the regional Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Utilities Sector Marat Ayzatullin reported about progress in implementation of the of multi-apartment houses capital overhaul programme.
On 5 December, congratulating volunteers with the International Volunteers Day, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Leyla Fazleeva wrote in her address: “
Your boundless kindness, sincere desire to help others and active civic position deserve special recognition and deep gratitude. There are over 5,000 volunteer associations operating successfully in Tatarstan, with a total membership of over 220,000 caring people of all ages and professions. Every year the contribution of volunteers into public life of the republic becomes more noticeable.
On 4 December Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Shamil Gafarov, who is the Chief of Staff of the Office of the Cabinet of Ministers of the republic, took part in a strategic session on the establishment of an inter-university campus in the republic being held at the Kazan Aircraft University on 4-6 December with participation of more than 100 people and more than 40 experts in politics, economy, science, education and industry from all over Russia.
