543,1 thousand m² of housing commissioned in Tatarstan

On March 15 at a regional meeting held by Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov at Tatarstan Government House, First Deputy Minister of Construction, Architecture, Housing and Municipal Economy Farit Khanifov said that as of March 14, 543,1 thousand m² of housing (22.6 per cent of the yearly plan) were commissioned in Tatarstan.
Tatarstan Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov took part in the meeting.
Head of the Department for construction, transport, housing, municipal economy and roads of the Cabinet of Ministers Ildar Sibgatullin reported on performance of the protocol of previous meeting dedicated to implementation of programmes of construction of housing and social objects.
During the video conference Rustam Minnikhanov asked heads of municipal regions to intensify work on construction of houses under social mortgage programme.
Making a keynote report at the meeting, Farit Khanifov said that 211 inspections of safety measures at construction sites were carried out from the beginning of 2014.
The amount of funds allocated for liquidation of hazardous housing stock will make 9 billion 777 million roubles in 2013-2017.
As of March 14, 19 houses with total area of 55,2 thousand m² were commissioned under social mortgage programme.
Farit Khanifov told about provision of housing for orphan children without parental care. In particular, housing will be provided for 309 children in 2014. He added that 317 million 136 thousand roubles are to be allocated for this purpose.
Farit Khanifov also reported on construction of pre-school educational institutions in Tatarstan in 2014.
Summing up, he reminded about the professional holiday of workers of housing and municipal economy sector that will be celebrated on the third Sunday of March.

On 21 April, speaking at a briefing in the Government House of the republic, the Head of the Russian Federal Tax Service for Tatarstan Marat Safiullin said that slightly more than one week is left to file an income tax return for 2025 with the tax service. According to the results of the tax campaign 5.5.bn rubles should come to the regional budget, he said and informed who should submit declarations and who is entitled to benefits.

On 12 April in his address to residents of the republic, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin congratulated them with the Space Exploration Day and said: “April 12, 1961 has forever been inscribed into the world history as the day of triumph of the Soviet science and engineering thought. The flight of Yuriy Gagarin opened the way to the stars for the humankind and demonstrated to the whole world the might of our country.
On 4 April , speaking at a closing ceremony of the XX Russian Venture Forum held at the Kazan Expo Exhibition Center, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin said that the Russian Venture Forum has confirmed its status of the point of attraction of technological development leaders.
The Forum created a unified scientific, technological and investment space where scientific ideas are transformed into competitive products, and startups gain access to capital and markets. Its business programme is organically integrated into the regional and federal agenda for achieving technological sovereignty and leadership of Russia, he said.
