Hard-surfaced roads to be built towards 68 Tatarstan rural settlements by 2014

On March 15 at a regional meeting held by Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov, Tatarstan Minister of Transport and Roads Lenar Safin reported that hard-surfaced roads would be built towards 68 rural settlements in Tatarstan by 2014.
Tatarstan Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov took part in the meeting.
Lenar Safin noted that asphalt roads would be built towards 40 of 68 rural settlements and roads with transitional type of road surface – towards 28 settlements.
Moreover, 70 facilities have been included in the programme on providing approach roads to family farms and livestock breeding complexes in 2014, with funding of 300 million roubles.
The programme on construction and reconstruction of roads and bridges will include 58 facilities, 28 motorways and six bridges in 2014.
According to Lenar Safin, 262 facilities to the amount of 1.067 billion roubles will be repaired to meet road network regulatory requirements in Kazan.

On 15 December, speaking at a meeting of the competition committee of the regional public competition “The Manager of the Year” about its results in 2025, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin said that the list of 155 participants (nominees), who are heads of enterprises and organizations from various industries and sectors of the economy, for the competition was formed based on recommendations from regional ministries and departments, city and district municipalities, employers' associations and the Federation of Trade Unions of the republic.
On 6 December speaking at a regional meeting held by the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov in the Government House of the republic with all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the regional Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Utilities Sector Marat Ayzatullin reported about progress in implementation of the of multi-apartment houses capital overhaul programme.
On 5 December, congratulating volunteers with the International Volunteers Day, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Leyla Fazleeva wrote in her address: “
Your boundless kindness, sincere desire to help others and active civic position deserve special recognition and deep gratitude. There are over 5,000 volunteer associations operating successfully in Tatarstan, with a total membership of over 220,000 caring people of all ages and professions. Every year the contribution of volunteers into public life of the republic becomes more noticeable.
On 4 December Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Shamil Gafarov, who is the Chief of Staff of the Office of the Cabinet of Ministers of the republic, took part in a strategic session on the establishment of an inter-university campus in the republic being held at the Kazan Aircraft University on 4-6 December with participation of more than 100 people and more than 40 experts in politics, economy, science, education and industry from all over Russia.
