About 1,000 items of abandoned property found under “Public inventory” campaign in Tatarstan

On March 15 at a regional meeting held by Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov at Tatarstan Government House Tatarstan, Minister of Land and Property Relations Azat Khamaev reported on work on defining boundaries of municipal regions, being done in Tatarstan.
In particular, Azat Khamaev said about the need to hold public hearings to define boundaries of 13 municipal regions. As of today, public hearings were held in 12 regions.
Also, it was reported on preliminary results of the “Public inventory” campaign, which started in January 2014 and is underway in Tatarstan.
The purpose of the campaign is to find and commercialise unused lands, including agricultural ones, and abandoned premises to enlarge the tax base.
As of today, about 1,000 items of abandoned property were identified under the campaign with the help of 500 citizens in the republic.

On 4 April , speaking at a closing ceremony of the XX Russian Venture Forum held at the Kazan Expo Exhibition Center, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin said that the Russian Venture Forum has confirmed its status of the point of attraction of technological development leaders.
The Forum created a unified scientific, technological and investment space where scientific ideas are transformed into competitive products, and startups gain access to capital and markets. Its business programme is organically integrated into the regional and federal agenda for achieving technological sovereignty and leadership of Russia, he said.
