Training center for preventing emergency situations may be established in Tatarstan after a Japanese pattern

On March 25, at a briefing at Tatarstan Cabinet of Ministers Chief Executive of Tatarstan Investment Development Agency Linar Yakupov reported about results of Tatarstan President’s trip to Japan and DPRK. In particular, he said that Rustam Minnikhanov and executives of Shinyei Kaisha discussed prospects of establishing the Russia's first training center for preventing emergency situations after a Japanese pattern in Tatarstan during their meeting in Japan.

Issues related to cooperation on setting up autonomous water treatment systems in Tatarstan were also raised at the meeting, he added. “First, we are going to test these systems at our new sites. Then, the systems can be used in regional municipalities,” the speaker noted.

Linar Yakupov continued that Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov and executives of Sanoh Industrial discussed issues of cooperation in the field of production of automobile parts in Tatarstan.

“Sanoh Industrial is thinking about the possibility to set up production facilities in Tatarstan,” the speaker pointed out.

Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov and Chairman and CEO of Yokogawa Electric Corporation Mr Shuzo Kaihori, and company’s President and COO Takashi Nishijima discussed joint projects being implemented with TANECO, Kazanorgsintez, TAIF-NK, Ammony, and Nizhnekamskneftekhim.

Issues related to implementation of joint projects in Tatarstan were touched upon at the meeting with executives of Murabeni Corporeation. Tatarstan delegation was told about the company’s experience in Russia.
