Rustam Minnikhanov holds board session of OAO “Tatneft”

On March 27, a regular board session of OAO “Tatneft" chaired by Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov was held in Kazan. The Board of Directors reviewed the company’s budget execution for two months of 2014 and approved the budget for April and second quarter of the current year.
A report on the state of the geological study and implementation of pilot projects on shale oil was presented at the session. As of the beginning of 2014, the company’s recoverable reserves in shale deposits made about 192 million tonnes. Currently, geology and geophysics data are being studied, wells that will be hydraulically fractured have been chosen. The hydraulic fracturing has been carried out in the Dankov-Lebedyanskiy deposits of Bavlinsky oil field.
The Board approved the shale oil development programme for 2014-2015 as well as the structure of creating the testing grounds for the Domanik deposits shale oil in Tatarstan.
The Board decided to recommend to the general meeting of TATNEFT shareholders to approve JSC "Energy Consulting/Audit" as the Auditor for performance of the statutory audit of the Company's annual financial statements.
The Board of Directors also discussed a number of other issues of OAO TATNEFT activities.

On 21 April, speaking at a briefing in the Government House of the republic, the Head of the Russian Federal Tax Service for Tatarstan Marat Safiullin said that slightly more than one week is left to file an income tax return for 2025 with the tax service. According to the results of the tax campaign 5.5.bn rubles should come to the regional budget, he said and informed who should submit declarations and who is entitled to benefits.

On 12 April in his address to residents of the republic, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin congratulated them with the Space Exploration Day and said: “April 12, 1961 has forever been inscribed into the world history as the day of triumph of the Soviet science and engineering thought. On 4 April , speaking at a closing ceremony of the XX Russian Venture Forum held at the Kazan Expo Exhibition Center, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin said that the Russian Venture Forum has confirmed its status of the point of attraction of technological development leaders.
The Forum created a unified scientific, technological and investment space where scientific ideas are transformed into competitive products, and startups gain access to capital and markets. Its business programme is organically integrated into the regional and federal agenda for achieving technological sovereignty and leadership of Russia, he said.
