Rustam Minnikhanov holds board session of OAO “Tatneft”

On March 27, a regular board session of OAO “Tatneft" chaired by Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov was held in Kazan. The Board of Directors reviewed the company’s budget execution for two months of 2014 and approved the budget for April and second quarter of the current year.
A report on the state of the geological study and implementation of pilot projects on shale oil was presented at the session. As of the beginning of 2014, the company’s recoverable reserves in shale deposits made about 192 million tonnes. Currently, geology and geophysics data are being studied, wells that will be hydraulically fractured have been chosen. The hydraulic fracturing has been carried out in the Dankov-Lebedyanskiy deposits of Bavlinsky oil field.
The Board approved the shale oil development programme for 2014-2015 as well as the structure of creating the testing grounds for the Domanik deposits shale oil in Tatarstan.
The Board decided to recommend to the general meeting of TATNEFT shareholders to approve JSC "Energy Consulting/Audit" as the Auditor for performance of the statutory audit of the Company's annual financial statements.
The Board of Directors also discussed a number of other issues of OAO TATNEFT activities.
On 10 March, speaking at a briefing dedicated to the development of the national Max messenger in Tatarstan and held in the Government House of the republic with all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the Minister of Digitalization of Public Administration, Information Technologies and Communication of the republic Ilya Nachvin informed that according to the data of March 2026 about 1.5m residents of Tatarstan use domestic Max messenger.
On 5 February Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin took part in ceremony of awarding winners of the regional competition “The Woman of the Year. The Man of the Year: A Woman’s View” held at the Korston Leisure and Recreation Center in Kazan.
On 4 March at a briefing in the Government House of the republic Tatarstan Minister of Land and Property Relation Fanil Agliullin told about changes in land legislation enforced from 1 March of the current year. He said that they simplify a number of procedures for land plot owners including expanding the possibilities for land use and changing the rules for changing the category of a plot.
On 2 March in her address on the occasion of the Mentor’s Day, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Leyla Fazleeva congratulated residents of the republic with the event and wrote: “Since 2025 this holiday established by Russian President Vladimir Putin has occupied a worthy place in the calendar of significant dates of our country, emphasizing the high status and significance of the mentoring mission.
