Ildar Khalikov meets with Director General of Thuringia Agency of economic development

On March 27 at his meeting with Director General of Thuringia Agency of economic development Andreas Krai, Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov welcomed members of the delegation and thanked Thuringia leadership for attention paid to Tatarstan.
Ildar Khalikov noted that Germany is one of the main partners of the republic with trade turnover between Germany and Tatarstan being 1.6 billion dollars in 2013. He briefly told about major projects being implemented in the republic.
Andreas Krai welcomed Tatarstan Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov on behalf of Thuringia Prime Minister Christina Liberkneht and said that she is going to visit Tatarstan with Thuringia businessmen in June.
According to Andreas Krai, representatives of ten German companies, producing automotive components, are on the delegation.
New joint projects in the sphere of medicine were also discussed at the meeting.
Summing up, Ildar Khalikov said he was glad that there are new prospective areas of cooperation between Tatarstan and Thuringia. He also called for developing interuniversity interaction and achieving certain results by the visit of Thuringia Prime Minister in June.
On 10 March, speaking at a briefing dedicated to the development of the national Max messenger in Tatarstan and held in the Government House of the republic with all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the Minister of Digitalization of Public Administration, Information Technologies and Communication of the republic Ilya Nachvin informed that according to the data of March 2026 about 1.5m residents of Tatarstan use domestic Max messenger.
On 5 February Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin took part in ceremony of awarding winners of the regional competition “The Woman of the Year. The Man of the Year: A Woman’s View” held at the Korston Leisure and Recreation Center in Kazan.
On 4 March at a briefing in the Government House of the republic Tatarstan Minister of Land and Property Relation Fanil Agliullin told about changes in land legislation enforced from 1 March of the current year. He said that they simplify a number of procedures for land plot owners including expanding the possibilities for land use and changing the rules for changing the category of a plot.
On 2 March in her address on the occasion of the Mentor’s Day, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Leyla Fazleeva congratulated residents of the republic with the event and wrote: “Since 2025 this holiday established by Russian President Vladimir Putin has occupied a worthy place in the calendar of significant dates of our country, emphasizing the high status and significance of the mentoring mission.
