620,900 m² of housing commissioned in Tatarstan

On March 29, at a regional meeting held by Tatarstan Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov, First Deputy Minister of Construction, Architecture, Housing and Municipal Economy Farit Khanifov reported that as of March 28, 620,900 m² of housing (25.9 per cent of the yearly plan)were commissioned in Tatarstan. Moreover, 77,900 m² were commissioned over the last two weeks.

Farit Khanifov reported in details on implementation of the programme aimed at moving people from hazardous housing stock. The hazardous housing stock that was recognized as such before Jabuary 1, 2012 must be liquidated by September 1, 2017 in Tatarstan. The targeted programme was approved for 2013-2017 years in the republic.

As of March 28, 23 houses with total area of 57,900 m² (970 apartments) were commissioned under the social mortgage programme.

State Housing Fund under Tatarstan President will build 11 houses with total area of 41,492 m² within the framework of the rental housing construction programme in 2014.

It is planned to provide 309 orphan children with housing in 2014, with 317,136 million roubles being allocated from Tatarstan (233,730 million roubles) and federal budgets (83,406 million roubles) for this purpose.

Forty three large families, having five and more children, were included in the list for receiving housing in 2014. As of March 15, 27 certificates to the amount of 86,312 million roubles were issued. By and large, 824 large families are on the summary list.

Farit Khanifov also reported on the programme of corporate housing construction for local police officers.
