Capital repair of 483 multi-apartment houses started in Tatarstan

On April 5, at a regional video conference held by Tatarstan Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov at Tatarstan Government House, First Deputy Minister of Construction, Architecture, Housing and Utilities Services Farit Khanifov reported that 40 municipalities participate in the programme of capital repair of multi-apartment houses in Tatarstan in 2014. This is 793 multi-apartment houses with a total area of 4.8 million square meters to improve living conditions of 202,200 citizens. Alekseevsky, Antinsky, Kaibitsky, Drozhzhanovsky and Cheremshansky districts were not included in the programme.

According to the State Housing Inspection, the capital repair of 483 houses (60.9 per cent of the plan) has been started in 38 municipal districts, with a dynamics of 51 houses for two weeks. Farit Khanifov reminded that the programme funding makes 4,683 billion roubles.

As of April 4, capital repair works have been started at 157 of 159 schools under the programme of capital repair of schools.

Farit Khanifov also reported on the programme of capital repair of recreation camps in 2014, with the funding of 100 million roubles. The capital repair of 13 children’s recreation camps will be carried out in 2014. As of April 4, the works have been started at 11 camps.

He continued that 539,6 million roubles will be funded to implement the programme on providing barrier-free environment in 2014, with 215.8 and 323.8 million roubles being allocated from the federal and regional budgets accordingly. It is planned to adapt 135 social facilities and 104 schools in 2014.

Farit Khanifov reminded that according to the decision of the Presidential Anti-Corruption Council (the session was held on March 26, 2014) all the participants of the Barrier Free Environment programme must intensify control over the programme implementation.

Farit Khanifov also reported on the programme on improving street lighting and construction of veterinary stations in rural areas in 2014.
