On April 12 at a regional meeting at Tatarstan Government House held by Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov, Minister of Construction, Architecture, Housing and Municipal Economy Irek Faizullin said that 753, 000 m² (31.4 per cent of the annual plan) of housing were commissioned in Tatarstan as of April 11.
He reminded that under the programme of relocation of citizens from shabby houses, information concerning all houses located on the republic should be presented in the system of State Housing Fund of the President of the Republic of Tatarstan to provide housing under social mortgage programme.
Reporting on social mortgage programme, Irek Faizullin said that 24 houses with total area of 69.3 thousand m² were commissioned as of April 11.
As for rental housing, 11 houses with total area of 41, 492 m² will be constructed in 2014, including 8 houses for Innopolis employees in Verkhny Uslon region, a 119-apartment house for IT park employees in Naberezhnye Chelny, 156-apartment house for employees of SEZ “Alabuga”, and 44-apartment house in Zhurnalistov st. (Kazan).
Besides, a 64-apartment house and cottage township with total area of 11, 421 m² for employees of SEZ “Alabuga” are under construction.
Concerning construction of investment housing, 33 of 121 multi-apartment houses have been built.
Summing up, Rustam Minnikhanov asked to organize double-shift work during the construction season, that is especially important for strategic objects, such as SEZ “Innopolis”.

On 10 March, speaking at a briefing dedicated to the development of the national Max messenger in Tatarstan and held in the Government House of the republic with all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the Minister of Digitalization of Public Administration, Information Technologies and Communication of the republic Ilya Nachvin informed that according to the data of March 2026 about 1.5m residents of Tatarstan use domestic Max messenger.
On 5 February Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin took part in ceremony of awarding winners of the regional competition “The Woman of the Year. The Man of the Year: A Woman’s View” held at the Korston Leisure and Recreation Center in Kazan.
On 4 March at a briefing in the Government House of the republic Tatarstan Minister of Land and Property Relation Fanil Agliullin told about changes in land legislation enforced from 1 March of the current year. He said that they simplify a number of procedures for land plot owners including expanding the possibilities for land use and changing the rules for changing the category of a plot.
On 2 March in her address on the occasion of the Mentor’s Day, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Leyla Fazleeva congratulated residents of the republic with the event and wrote: “Since 2025 this holiday established by Russian President Vladimir Putin has occupied a worthy place in the calendar of significant dates of our country, emphasizing the high status and significance of the mentoring mission.
