Rustam Minnikhanov meets with executives of Chinese National Chemical Engineering Corporation

On April 16 at their meeting in Beijing, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov and Board Chairman of Chinese National Chemical Engineering Corporation Jin Kening discussed realization of current projects and prospects of cooperation between Tatarstan enterprises and Chinese National Chemical Engineering Corporation (CNCEC).
CNCEC is one of participants of international consortium that is building Ammoni plant in Mendeleevsk region (Tatarstan). At today’s meeting Tatarstan President noted that implementation of the project is nearly completed.
Rustam Minnikhanov said that high professional skills and discipline of CNCEC group is worth noticing. “We hope “Ammoni” is not our last joint project. Heads of our leading companies that are on the delegation today might be interested in CNCEC services,” Rustam Minnikhanov said.
Director General of ZAO “Gasprom Mezhregiongas Kazan” Rinat Khanbikov reported on implementation of “Ammoni” project.
Director General of OAO “Tatneft” Nail Maganov said the company will be glad to see Chinese partners as designers of prospective projects.
Board Chairman of OAO “TAIF” Rustem Sulteev confirmed company’s readiness for cooperation with CNCEC.
CNCEC Board Chairman Jin Kening, in his turn, said that “Ammoni” project is being successfully implemented due to personal support of Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov. He also confirmed that CNCEC is willing to realize other projects in Tatarstan.
On 13 April in his congratulatory address on the occasion of the Maecenas and Benefactor Day, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin congratulated residents of the republic with the event and wrote: "Tatarstan has always been known for its generous and kind-hearted people who are ready to help the needy and support important social, cultural and educational projects. We all remember with gratitude the outstanding philanthropists – the Akchurin brothers, the Alafuzovs, and the Ushkovs, whose good deeds and generous donations contributed to the development of culture, education, and healthcare in our republic. The glorious traditions are continued by modern philanthropists and patrons of Tatarstan.
On 12 April in his address to residents of the republic, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin congratulated them with the Space Exploration Day and said: “April 12, 1961 has forever been inscribed into the world history as the day of triumph of the Soviet science and engineering thought. The flight of Yuriy Gagarin opened the way to the stars for the humankind and demonstrated to the whole world the might of our country.
On 4 April , speaking at a closing ceremony of the XX Russian Venture Forum held at the Kazan Expo Exhibition Center, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin said that the Russian Venture Forum has confirmed its status of the point of attraction of technological development leaders.
The Forum created a unified scientific, technological and investment space where scientific ideas are transformed into competitive products, and startups gain access to capital and markets. Its business programme is organically integrated into the regional and federal agenda for achieving technological sovereignty and leadership of Russia, he said.
On 1 April Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin and Russian Minister of Healthcare Mikhail Murashko introduced Ayrat Farrakhov, who was appointed the Acting Rector of Kazan State Medical University (KSMU) to its staff.
In his speech Mikhail Murashko emphasized that today KSMU is rightfully considered one of the most respected in the country and said:”Ayrat (Zakievich) has been officially appointed the Acting Rector and I am sure that under his leadership the University will maintain the positions it has achieved and, of course, will continue its development.”
