Rustam Minnikhanov and Aleksandr Fedorov discuss prospects of “ALNAS” plant

On April 18 at their meeting in Kazan, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov and Board Chairman of Chelyabinsk pipe plant Aleksandr Fedorov discussed prospects of “ALNAS” plant (Almetievsk pipe plant).
Aleksandr Fedorov presented results of work of OAO “ALNAS” for the first quarter of 2014. He noted that sales volume of the enterprise increased by 20 per cent.
Cooperation between State Corporation “Rimera” and Tatarstan enterprises were also discussed at the meeting. In particular, it was noted that in February OAO Tatneft and State Corporation “Rimera” signed protocol on cooperation that implies joint work on producing new equipment and expanding the range of products and services provided for Tatarstan companies by Rimera enterprises.
By results of 2013, sales volume of oilfield services division of Chelyabinsk pipe plant for OAO “Tatneft” increased by 4 per cent, and the company is going to increase the figures by taking an active part in tenders of oil industry workers.
Rustam Minnikhanov believes that all company’s plans will be realized. He noted that successful development of Almetievsk engineering plant is important for economic potential of the republic.
Aleksandr Fedorov stressed that a constructive dialogue is very important, and expressed hope for fruitful cooperation in implementation of social and economic projects.
“The programme aimed at increasing labour efficiency implemented at ALNAS plant in cooperation with the Ministry of Industry and Trade in 2013-2016, already yields results,” Aleksandr Fedorov said. He also informed about construction of “College of the future” carried out with the auspices of the Ministry of Education and Science under private-state partnership.
On 5 February Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin took part in ceremony of awarding winners of the regional competition “The Woman of the Year. The Man of the Year: A Woman’s View” held at the Korston Leisure and Recreation Center in Kazan.
On 4 March at a briefing in the Government House of the republic Tatarstan Minister of Land and Property Relation Fanil Agliullin told about changes in land legislation enforced from 1 March of the current year. He said that they simplify a number of procedures for land plot owners including expanding the possibilities for land use and changing the rules for changing the category of a plot.
On 2 March in her address on the occasion of the Mentor’s Day, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Leyla Fazleeva congratulated residents of the republic with the event and wrote: “Since 2025 this holiday established by Russian President Vladimir Putin has occupied a worthy place in the calendar of significant dates of our country, emphasizing the high status and significance of the mentoring mission.
On 28 February, speaking at a meeting held by Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin in the Government House of the republic with all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the Director of the Fund “The Institute of Development of Tatarstan Cities” Nailya Nagumanova informed about preparation to the implementation of the Our Yard programme in the republic.
