Seminar for managers “Modern management technologies” started in Kazan

On April 22 Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov, President and Board Chairman of OAO “Sberbank of Russia” German Gref, Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov, heads of ministries, agencies and municipalities took part in a seminar “Modern management technologies” in Kazan.
Opening the seminar, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov thanked German Gref for organization of the event. German Gref, in his turn, told that during the seminar participants will learn about best practices of the bank and leading foreign companies in the sphere of innovative development and HR management. Lecturers of Russian and foreign business schools, including professor David Tiss from Business School of California University, will deliver speeches at the event.
In his interview, Rustam Minnikhanov said that it is a very important event. “To stay competitive today we need skills, and see prospects for the next ten years. Therefore, we are so grateful to “Sberbank of Russia” for this seminar,” he said.
German Gref reminded that it was the idea of Russian President Vladimir Putin to hold such seminars, and he asked to organize the event for Russian governors.
“It is a great privilege for us to share our experience with Tatarstan. During this seminar we will learn from answering questions of our colleagues. It is a mutual learning process aimed at increasing management quality in our country,” German Gref summarized.
On 9 June upon his arrival to the Kazan International Airport, the Russian Minister for Foreign Affairs Sergey Lavrov was welcomed by Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin.
In Kazan Sergey Lavrov will take part in a meeting of the Council of Ministers for Foreign Affairs of State-Participants of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO).
On 5 May, speaking at a regular meeting held by the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov in the Government House of the republic with participation of the regional Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin and all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Utilities Sector of the republic Marat Ayzatullin informed that currently 63 school catering units are under repairs with the amount of work completed reaching 15 per cent.
On May 26, speaking at a briefing in the Cabinet of Ministers of the republic held in a videoconference mode with participation of all municipal regions of Tatarstan and focused on events scheduled for June 1, International Children’s Day, as well as the implementation of the “Summer in Tatarstan” programme, Deputy Prime Minister of the republic Leyla Fazleeva appealed that parents should closely supervise their children during recreational activities near water in order to prevent accidents.
On 18 May ay the CIPR conference in Nizhniy Nogorod the Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Roman Shaykhutdinov, the Rector of the Innopolis University Aleksandr Gasnikpov and the Vice-rector of the University Yevgeny Bobrov will take part at round tables session of the conference.
Experts will discuss the role of Tatarstan and Innopolis as one of the key technological centers of the country and how regional innovative platforms help to solve tasks of the whole Russian industry. A special emphasis will be placed on the digital transformation of the oil and gas sector and how large clusters and scientific and technological centers are becoming drivers of industry change.
