Rustam Minnikhanov holds board session of OAO "Tatneft"

On April 28, at a regular board session of OAO "Tatneft", chaired by Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov results of company’s budget execution for three months of 2014 were discussed and the budget for May was approved.
The Board discussed the results of the financial and economic activities of OAO “TATNEFT” for 2013. Last year, the company produced 26.1 million tonnes of crude oil from its fields, with an increase of 102,000 tonnes as compared to 2012. By and large, 266 output wells were put into operation.
During the reporting period, the volume of produced associated petroleum gas amounted to 864.8 million cubic meters, which is 2.5 per cent higher than the last year figure.
The crude oil production volume from the licensed fields of subsidiaries outside Tatarstan in the Russian Federation amounted to 312 thousand tonnes of oil with 18 wells drilled.
During the reporting period, works on introduction of new equipment and technologies in drilling, crude oil production and wells workover operations were continued.
The resource-saving activities are an important area of Tatneft’s operation. The company saved more than 55 thousand tonnes of reference fuel of energy resources under the resource-saving programme last year.
The net income of the company for 2013 amounted to 63.9 billion rubles.
The Board discussed the progress of introduction of new technologies for the development and operation of Tatneft’s fields. The information on the reconstruction progress of the Nizhnekamsk CHP-2 was also presented at the meeting.
The Board was informed of the annual general meeting of shareholders, dividends on Tataneft’s shares and discussed a number of other issues of the company’s activities.
On 9 June upon his arrival to the Kazan International Airport, the Russian Minister for Foreign Affairs Sergey Lavrov was welcomed by Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin.
In Kazan Sergey Lavrov will take part in a meeting of the Council of Ministers for Foreign Affairs of State-Participants of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO).
On 5 May, speaking at a regular meeting held by the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov in the Government House of the republic with participation of the regional Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin and all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Utilities Sector of the republic Marat Ayzatullin informed that currently 63 school catering units are under repairs with the amount of work completed reaching 15 per cent.
On May 26, speaking at a briefing in the Cabinet of Ministers of the republic held in a videoconference mode with participation of all municipal regions of Tatarstan and focused on events scheduled for June 1, International Children’s Day, as well as the implementation of the “Summer in Tatarstan” programme, Deputy Prime Minister of the republic Leyla Fazleeva appealed that parents should closely supervise their children during recreational activities near water in order to prevent accidents.
On 18 May ay the CIPR conference in Nizhniy Nogorod the Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Roman Shaykhutdinov, the Rector of the Innopolis University Aleksandr Gasnikpov and the Vice-rector of the University Yevgeny Bobrov will take part at round tables session of the conference.
Experts will discuss the role of Tatarstan and Innopolis as one of the key technological centers of the country and how regional innovative platforms help to solve tasks of the whole Russian industry. A special emphasis will be placed on the digital transformation of the oil and gas sector and how large clusters and scientific and technological centers are becoming drivers of industry change.
