Tatarstan President: “Stable situation in the republic and in families depends on working efficiency of enterprises”

On April 29 at a session of the Economic council under Tatarstan Cabinet of Ministers, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov said that stable situation in the republic and in families depends on working efficiency of enterprises. Tatarstan President stated that country’s and global economy is slowing down. Besides, Europe and USA are imposing sanctions on Russia.
“We should estimate which sanctions will be applied to our enterprises indirectly, and what markets can we lose. Ministries should estimate all these risks. Besides our everyday work we have to take into account current situation in the world,” Rustam Minnikhanov said. He also asked to pay attention to income tax, labour efficiency and energy and resource consumption. “We have to carry out complex work on using technologies in the sphere of organization of production and efficiency of resource management to meet international standards. We should also focus on tariff policy, transport infrastructure and staff training,” Rustam Minnikhanov added.
“We should increase responsibility of our managers, and tell private investors what is happening at their enterprises. I think any owner is interested in efficient work of his company.
Participants of the meeting discussed financial activity of energy, petrochemical, engineering, transport, construction, housing and utility enterprises, and social and economic development of Tatarstan in the 1st quarter of 2014.
Tatarstan Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov, heads of ministries, agencies, and enterprises took part in the event.
On 5 February Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin took part in ceremony of awarding winners of the regional competition “The Woman of the Year. The Man of the Year: A Woman’s View” held at the Korston Leisure and Recreation Center in Kazan.
On 4 March at a briefing in the Government House of the republic Tatarstan Minister of Land and Property Relation Fanil Agliullin told about changes in land legislation enforced from 1 March of the current year. He said that they simplify a number of procedures for land plot owners including expanding the possibilities for land use and changing the rules for changing the category of a plot.
On 2 March in her address on the occasion of the Mentor’s Day, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Leyla Fazleeva congratulated residents of the republic with the event and wrote: “Since 2025 this holiday established by Russian President Vladimir Putin has occupied a worthy place in the calendar of significant dates of our country, emphasizing the high status and significance of the mentoring mission.
On 28 February, speaking at a meeting held by Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin in the Government House of the republic with all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the Director of the Fund “The Institute of Development of Tatarstan Cities” Nailya Nagumanova informed about preparation to the implementation of the Our Yard programme in the republic.
