Solemn flower laying ceremony held in Victory Park in Kazan

On May 9, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov, State Counsellor Mintimer Shaimiev, Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov, Deputy Chairman of State Council Rimma Ratnikova, Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin, employees of ministries, agencies, enterprises and public organizations, students and pupils, veterans of the Great Patriotic War took part in solemn flower laying ceremony in Victory Park in Kazan.
The first ceremony took place near the Eternal Flame of the Glory Memorial. State anthems of Russian Federation and the Republic of Tatarstan were heard, and a minute’s silence to pay tribute to the fallen soldiers took place.
The campaign “Immortal regiment” was held on the Glory Lane, where pupils and students were standing in a row with portraits of their relatives, who took part in combat operations.
Afterwards, Tatarstan President went to Monument to Mothers and Widows of the fallen soldiers to lay flowers.

On 24 April in the Government House of the republic, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin held a joint meeting the Council for Enforcement of Legislation of Languages of Tatarstan and the organizational committee for celebrations of the 140th birthday of Gabdulla Tukay which summarized results of work of the regional law enforcement on official languages of the republic and considered progress of the implementation of the plan of main events for preparation and celebration of the 140th birthday of Gabdulla Tukay .
On 21 April, speaking at a briefing in the Government House of the republic, the Head of the Russian Federal Tax Service for Tatarstan Marat Safiullin said that slightly more than one week is left to file an income tax return for 2025 with the tax service. According to the results of the tax campaign 5.5.bn rubles should come to the regional budget, he said and informed who should submit declarations and who is entitled to benefits.
On 13 April in his congratulatory address on the occasion of the Maecenas and Benefactor Day, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin congratulated residents of the republic with the event and wrote: "Tatarstan has always been known for its generous and kind-hearted people who are ready to help the needy and support important social, cultural and educational projects. We all remember with gratitude the outstanding philanthropists – the Akchurin brothers, the Alafuzovs, and the Ushkovs, whose good deeds and generous donations contributed to the development of culture, education, and healthcare in our republic.
