Russian Minister of Health Veronika Skvortsova visits Azino children’s polyclinic in Kazan

On May 14, Russian Minister of Health Veronika Skvortsova, who arrived in Kazan on a two-day working visit (May 13-14) to attend solemn events dated to the 200th anniversary of Kazan State Medical University, visited Azino children’s polyclinic in Kazan.
Accompanied by Tatarstan Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov, Russian Deputy Prime Minister Airat Farrakhov, Aide to Tatarstan President on Social Issues Tatyana Larionova, Tatarstan Minister of Health Adel Vafin and other officials, Veronika Skvortsova took part in a solemn opening of Regional Blood Center and visited Azino children’s polyclinic afterwards.
To the point, Azino children’s polyclinic has been functioning as part of the Children’s Regional Clinical Hospital since August 30, 2013. Designed for 800 visits per shift, the polyclinic was built in one of the densely populated districts of Kazan and provides primary health care to more than 28,000 children.
Veronika Skvortsova got familiar with the work of the polyclinic, including the electronic registration system, was shown the reception office, pharmacy, pediatric department, day patient department, café for children, as well as physiotherapy department and mechanotherapy laboratory .
She was particularly interested in the work of medical social help centers "Yshanych" and "Sardash". These centers provide medical, diagnostic, consulting as well as welfare and legal assistance, employing a pediatrician, a gynecologist, an urologist, a psychologist and a social worker.
Adel Vafin told Veronika Skvortsova about the arrangement of medical treatment for children and scheme of provision of medicines in particular.

Azino children's polyclinic is a "pilot" platform among health care institutions of the Republic of Tatarstan to inroduce "Paperless hospital" project into The Unified state information system “Electronic health care of the Republic of Tatarstan”. At the moment the conversion of primary medical records in an electronic format is being done, which will enable increasing the time of communication between patients and physicians to ensure the rapid exchange of medical information. Azino polyclinic is a clinical base of a number of departments of Kazan State Medical University.

On 21 April, speaking at a briefing in the Government House of the republic, the Head of the Russian Federal Tax Service for Tatarstan Marat Safiullin said that slightly more than one week is left to file an income tax return for 2025 with the tax service. According to the results of the tax campaign 5.5.bn rubles should come to the regional budget, he said and informed who should submit declarations and who is entitled to benefits.
