Tatarstan Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov takes part in XVIII St. Petersburg international economic forum

On May 23, Tatarstan Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov arrived in St. Petersburg to take part in XVIII St. Petersburg international economic forum (May 22-24, Lenexpo). This year the forum is dedicated to the topic “Sustaining confidence in a world undergoing transformation”.
In the morning Ildar Khalikov took part in a panel session “The national rating of Russian regions: initial results”, met with Secretary General of the Ministry of Economy of North Rhine – Westphalia Gunter Khorcetski to discuss further cooperation in a number of projects, and Managing Director of Euromoney group Neil Osborn.
In the afternoon Ildar Khalikov took part in a plenary session of St. Petersburg international economic forum “Sustaining confidence in a world undergoing transformation”, where Russian President Vladimir Putin and invited heads of states and governments delivered their speeches.

On 10 January, speaking at a meeting held by Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin in the Government House of the republic with all municipality regions taking part in it via videoconference, the regional Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Utilities Sector Marat Ayzatutllin informed that in the current year the Ministry will take part in implementation of five national projects and three state programmes with planned construction and capital overhaul of 172 facilities for the total sum of 17bn rubles.
On 10 January, speaking at a meeting held by Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin in the Government House of the republic with all municipality regions taking part in it via videoconference, the regional Minister of Agriculture and Food Marat Zyabbarov informed that it is expected to achieve a comparable growth of produce of 1.5%, including that in food production - at least 2.6% in the agricultural sector.
On 4 January Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin, who is the First Deputy Chairman of the Commission of prevention and elimination of emergency situation and ensuring fire safety of the republic, has taken a decision to put into operation the “Buran” (Snow storm) plan in Tatarstan starting from 2 pm on 4 January until the consequences of adverse meteorological events are eliminated by ministries, departments and organizations which ensure the smooth movement of road and rail transport in winter.
On 3 January on the errand from the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov, the regional Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin, who is the First Deputy Chairman of the Commission of prevention and elimination of emergency situations and ensuring fire safety of the republic , held an urgent meeting of the Commission which discussed readiness of forces and means to ensure security during the New Year and Christmas holidays.
