Rustam Minnikhanov holds Board Session of OAO “Tatneft”

On May 27, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov held a regular Board session of OAO “Tatneft” in Almetievsk. The Board reviewed the copany’s budget execution for four months of 2014 and approved the budget for June of the current year, as well as discussed the results of the financial and economic activities of the company in the first quarter of this year.
By and large, 6 million 453 thousand tonnes of crude oil was produced in the fields of TATNEFT for the first three months of this year. According to the results of the financial and economic activities the company received 30.8 billion roubles of profit before tax. The net profit increased by 6.2 billion roubles compared with the same period of the last year and amounted to 24.4 billion rubles.
The Board discussed the plans for crude oil production and geological and engineering operations of OAO “Tatneft” for 2015-2016. Currently, the Company is developing 83 fields. As of 2013, according the audit results by Miller and Lents, the proved crude oil reserves amount to 847.3 million tonnes. The Board approved the plan of crude oil production for the next two years aimed at stabilizing crude oil production in Tatarstan and growing production due to producing extra-viscous oil, as well as implementing projects outside the republic.
The Board was briefed on the results of the consolidated financial IFRS statements for the Tatneft group of companies, audit results of the company's financial and economic activities for 2013 by Energy Consulting/Audit and Company's Audit Committee, the summary report on the results of the last year operations, annual report and annual financial statements.
The Board also discussed information about the annual general meeting of shareholders of OAO “Tatneft” and a number of other issues of the company's activities.
On May 26, speaking at a briefing in the Cabinet of Ministers of the republic held in a videoconference mode with participation of all municipal regions of Tatarstan and focused on events scheduled for June 1, International Children’s Day, as well as the implementation of the “Summer in Tatarstan” programme, Deputy Prime Minister of the republic Leyla Fazleeva appealed that parents should closely supervise their children during recreational activities near water in order to prevent accidents.
On 18 May ay the CIPR conference in Nizhniy Nogorod the Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Roman Shaykhutdinov, the Rector of the Innopolis University Aleksandr Gasnikpov and the Vice-rector of the University Yevgeny Bobrov will take part at round tables session of the conference.
Experts will discuss the role of Tatarstan and Innopolis as one of the key technological centers of the country and how regional innovative platforms help to solve tasks of the whole Russian industry. A special emphasis will be placed on the digital transformation of the oil and gas sector and how large clusters and scientific and technological centers are becoming drivers of industry change.
On 16 May, speaking at a meeting in the Government House of the republic held by the regional Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin with participation of the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the Minister of Agriculture and Food of the republic Marat Zyabbarov reported that the sowing of spring crops is in full swing in the republic with 1m 38 thousand hectares or 61 per cent of the planned have been sown.
On May 14, on the sidelines of the XVII International Economic Forum “Russia-the Islamic World: KazanForum”, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin and Head of the Federal Service for Accreditation Dmitry Volvach signed an agreement on interaction and cooperation in the development of the halal industry.
