Rustam Minnikhanov holds meeting with small oil companies

On May 27, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov held a meeting on results of activity of small oil companies in the first quarter of 2014 and prospects and development at OAO “Tatneft” in Almetievsk. Head of regional ministries and agencies, territorial branches of federal bodies, municipalities of Tatarstan oil region, and Tatneft company took part in the meeting.
Opening the meeting, Rustam Minnikhanov said: “In connection with international situation around Ukraine, economic situation is rather difficult. It will have an impact on relations with European and American colleagues. Country’s leadership is trying to establish partnership relations with the East. Many agreements have already been signed in China.”
“Western businessmen are willing to work with us, however, political leverage may lead to unpredictable consequences. Therefore, we should estimate possible diversification of business and our partners,” Rustam Minnikhanov said.
Tatarstan President continued that economic situation in the republic is not favourable, growth rates of industrial production and gross product are lower than it was expected.
Director General of ZAO “Neftekonsortsium” Fanis Valiev reported on results of production and economic activity of Tatarstan small oil companies for the first quarter of 2014.
Chief geologist of OAO “Tatneft” Rais Khisamov told about development of oil field development research on using carbonate deposits of oil reserves.
Deputy Head of Volga Department of Federal Service for Ecological, Technological and Atomic Supervision Almaz Nasybullin told about industrial safety at objects of small oil companies.
On 15 December, speaking at a meeting of the competition committee of the regional public competition “The Manager of the Year” about its results in 2025, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin said that the list of 155 participants (nominees), who are heads of enterprises and organizations from various industries and sectors of the economy, for the competition was formed based on recommendations from regional ministries and departments, city and district municipalities, employers' associations and the Federation of Trade Unions of the republic.
On 6 December speaking at a regional meeting held by the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov in the Government House of the republic with all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the regional Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Utilities Sector Marat Ayzatullin reported about progress in implementation of the of multi-apartment houses capital overhaul programme.
On 5 December, congratulating volunteers with the International Volunteers Day, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Leyla Fazleeva wrote in her address: “
Your boundless kindness, sincere desire to help others and active civic position deserve special recognition and deep gratitude. There are over 5,000 volunteer associations operating successfully in Tatarstan, with a total membership of over 220,000 caring people of all ages and professions. Every year the contribution of volunteers into public life of the republic becomes more noticeable.
On 4 December Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Shamil Gafarov, who is the Chief of Staff of the Office of the Cabinet of Ministers of the republic, took part in a strategic session on the establishment of an inter-university campus in the republic being held at the Kazan Aircraft University on 4-6 December with participation of more than 100 people and more than 40 experts in politics, economy, science, education and industry from all over Russia.
