Tatarstan President meets with Board Chairman of Wienerberger AG

On June 4, at his meeting with Board Chairman of Wienerberger AG Mr Heimo Scheuch, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov congratulated the company on 5 years of work in Tatarstan: “You believed in Russian market and Tatarstan, and we wish success to your plant.”
Rustam Minnikhanov noted that for a short period the plant has passed the way from foundation stone laying to production capacity of 120 million bricks per year. The President stressed that high quality products with high thermal-insulating properties are manufactured at the plant.
Heimo Scheuch, in his turn, thanked Rustam Minnikhanov for the meeting and expressed hope that the plant’s produce will become more popular in Tatarstan. Tatarstan President asked the Ministry of Construction and State Housing Fund to use Wienerberger products more often. The company, in its turn, can send specialists to large construction sites to consult builders on proper use of their products.
Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov, Aide to Tatarstan President on economic affairs Airat Khairullin, and Minister of Construction Irek Faizullin took part in the meeting.
On 12 January, congratulating employees of the prosecutor’s office with their professional holiday - Day of the employee of the Prosecutor's Office of the Russian Federation- Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin wrote in his address:
“For more than three centuries the prosecutor's office has been the guardian of state and public security as well as constitutional rights and freedoms of citizens of our country.
On 10 January, speaking at a meeting held by Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin in the Government House of the republic with all municipality regions taking part in it via videoconference, the regional Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Utilities Sector Marat Ayzatutllin informed that in the current year the Ministry will take part in implementation of five national projects and three state programmes with planned construction and capital overhaul of 172 facilities for the total sum of 17bn rubles.
On 10 January, speaking at a meeting held by Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin in the Government House of the republic with all municipality regions taking part in it via videoconference, the regional Minister of Agriculture and Food Marat Zyabbarov informed that it is expected to achieve a comparable growth of produce of 1.5%, including that in food production - at least 2.6% in the agricultural sector.
On 4 January Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin, who is the First Deputy Chairman of the Commission of prevention and elimination of emergency situation and ensuring fire safety of the republic, has taken a decision to put into operation the “Buran” (Snow storm) plan in Tatarstan starting from 2 pm on 4 January until the consequences of adverse meteorological events are eliminated by ministries, departments and organizations which ensure the smooth movement of road and rail transport in winter.
