Marat Akhmetov: Productive moisture reserve in Tatarstan fields is very low today

On June 6, at a video conference held by Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov, Tatarstan Minister of Agriculture and Food Marat Akhmetov stated that productive moisture reserve in Tatarstan fields is very low today.
He noted that a dangerous phenomenon, dry wind, is registered in 40 municipal regions. He offered farmers to work closer with insurance companies.
Marat Akhmetov told about activities being held under drought conditions (harrowing, planting out of drought-resistant varieties, plant nutrition).
Marat Akhmetov told as well that 278 units of watering equipment are being used today.
As for fodder conservation, 16 thousand tonnes of hay and 52 thousand tonnes of haylage have been procured for today.
Some districts have already started woody forage conservation, Marat Akhmetov said.
Prime Minister of Tatarstan Ildar Khalikov participated in the meeting.

On 15 December, speaking at a meeting of the competition committee of the regional public competition “The Manager of the Year” about its results in 2025, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin said that the list of 155 participants (nominees), who are heads of enterprises and organizations from various industries and sectors of the economy, for the competition was formed based on recommendations from regional ministries and departments, city and district municipalities, employers' associations and the Federation of Trade Unions of the republic.
On 6 December speaking at a regional meeting held by the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov in the Government House of the republic with all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the regional Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Utilities Sector Marat Ayzatullin reported about progress in implementation of the of multi-apartment houses capital overhaul programme.

On 4 December Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Shamil Gafarov, who is the Chief of Staff of the Office of the Cabinet of Ministers of the republic, took part in a strategic session on the establishment of an inter-university campus in the republic being held at the Kazan Aircraft University on 4-6 December with participation of more than 100 people and more than 40 experts in politics, economy, science, education and industry from all over Russia.
