Tatarstan President meets with Ambassador of Egypt to Russia

On June 11, at their meeting in Kazan, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov and Ambassador of Egypt to Russia Mohamed Elbadri discussed prospects of cooperation between Tatarstan and Egypt. At a video conference that was held later on, Mohamed Elbadri said that participants of the meeting agreed that two republics have high potential to develop bilateral relations.
“We have discussed the ways to consolidate relations between the Arab Republic of Egypt and the Republic of Tatarstan. We see high potential for developing our bilateral relations in the sphere of tourism, trade and investments,” Mohamed Elbadri said.
The Ambassador continued that during the meeting he offered Tatarstan President to conclude brotherly agreement between Hurghada and Kazan, and Rustam Minnikhanov supported the idea.
Tatarstan Minister of Industry and Trade Ravil Zaripov, Aide to Tatarstan President on international issues Radik Gimatdinov, and Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin took part in the meeting.
On 15 December, speaking at a meeting of the competition committee of the regional public competition “The Manager of the Year” about its results in 2025, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin said that the list of 155 participants (nominees), who are heads of enterprises and organizations from various industries and sectors of the economy, for the competition was formed based on recommendations from regional ministries and departments, city and district municipalities, employers' associations and the Federation of Trade Unions of the republic.
On 6 December speaking at a regional meeting held by the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov in the Government House of the republic with all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the regional Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Utilities Sector Marat Ayzatullin reported about progress in implementation of the of multi-apartment houses capital overhaul programme.
On 5 December, congratulating volunteers with the International Volunteers Day, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Leyla Fazleeva wrote in her address: “
Your boundless kindness, sincere desire to help others and active civic position deserve special recognition and deep gratitude. There are over 5,000 volunteer associations operating successfully in Tatarstan, with a total membership of over 220,000 caring people of all ages and professions. Every year the contribution of volunteers into public life of the republic becomes more noticeable.
On 4 December Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Shamil Gafarov, who is the Chief of Staff of the Office of the Cabinet of Ministers of the republic, took part in a strategic session on the establishment of an inter-university campus in the republic being held at the Kazan Aircraft University on 4-6 December with participation of more than 100 people and more than 40 experts in politics, economy, science, education and industry from all over Russia.
