On June 15, during his working trip to Tomsk region, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov took part in federal Sabantui. He was accompanied by the Governor Sergey Zhvachkin.
In the morning Tatarstan President visited the White Cathedral Mosque in Tomsk, where he was told about life of Muslims in the city and region, and talked to activists.
Later on, Tatarstan President met with Governor of Tomsk region, and heads of two regions took part in Sabantui celebrations.
The guests watched dramatized performance, parade of Tatar public ethno-cultural organizations from Russian regions.
“It is a wonderful holiday of traditions, and who else but Tomsk citizens should hold this event, as representatives of 100 nationalities live in our region. By learning about culture of other nations, we will understand each other better and consolidate peace,” Governor of Tomsk region said.
Tatarstan President thanked leadership of the region for holding the 14th federal Sabantui, and Nizhnekamsk delegation for participation in organization of the celebrations.
Rustam Minnikhanov presented Commendation of Tatarstan President to activists of Tatar ethno-cultural organizations and a minibus to national and cultural autonomy of Tatars.
On 15 December, speaking at a meeting of the competition committee of the regional public competition “The Manager of the Year” about its results in 2025, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin said that the list of 155 participants (nominees), who are heads of enterprises and organizations from various industries and sectors of the economy, for the competition was formed based on recommendations from regional ministries and departments, city and district municipalities, employers' associations and the Federation of Trade Unions of the republic.
On 6 December speaking at a regional meeting held by the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov in the Government House of the republic with all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the regional Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Utilities Sector Marat Ayzatullin reported about progress in implementation of the of multi-apartment houses capital overhaul programme.
On 5 December, congratulating volunteers with the International Volunteers Day, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Leyla Fazleeva wrote in her address: “
Your boundless kindness, sincere desire to help others and active civic position deserve special recognition and deep gratitude. There are over 5,000 volunteer associations operating successfully in Tatarstan, with a total membership of over 220,000 caring people of all ages and professions. Every year the contribution of volunteers into public life of the republic becomes more noticeable.
On 4 December Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Shamil Gafarov, who is the Chief of Staff of the Office of the Cabinet of Ministers of the republic, took part in a strategic session on the establishment of an inter-university campus in the republic being held at the Kazan Aircraft University on 4-6 December with participation of more than 100 people and more than 40 experts in politics, economy, science, education and industry from all over Russia.
