Rustam Minnikhanov attends Kazan City Racing Show

On June 15, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov attended Kazan City Racing Show with participation of famous auto sportsmen. A few thousand spectators gathered near the Kazan Kremlin.
Tatarstan President watched the performances of masters of motor freestyle, car stunt performers, and racers. The KAMAZ-master team cars and “Formula 1” bolides ran demonstration laps on the square converted into a race track.
Later on, Rustam Minnikhanov visited garages, where he talked to pilots - English stunt performer Terry Grant, first Russian Formula 1 pilot Vitaly Petrov, and KAMAZ-master team racer Eduard Nikolaev. Tatarstan President got into a racing car of Caterham Formula 1 team. The pilots demonstrated Rustam Minnikhanov their racing technique and told about its features.

On 4 May at a briefing held in the Tatarstan Government House it was told that currently there are 92 combat veterans, the last witnesses of the Great Patriotic War (WW II) of 1941-1945, living in the republic. The briefing also informed about veterans’ support measures and how the republic is planning to celebrate the Victory Day on 9 May.
The Deputy Prime Minister of the republic Leyla Fazleeva told that names of 353 Heroes of the Soviet Union from Tatarstan “ are immortalized in street names, on memorials, in monuments and squares and, of course, in our memory”. “The Victory Day is the day of memory, mourning and joy. It is the event which today should be clearly understandable to all young people and younger generation of Tatarstan,” she said.

On 21 April, speaking at a briefing in the Government House of the republic, the Head of the Russian Federal Tax Service for Tatarstan Marat Safiullin said that slightly more than one week is left to file an income tax return for 2025 with the tax service. According to the results of the tax campaign 5.5.bn rubles should come to the regional budget, he said and informed who should submit declarations and who is entitled to benefits.
