1 million 125.4 thousand m² of housing commissioned in Tatarstan

On June 20, at a meeting held by Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov with municipal regions, it was noted that 1 million 125.4 thousand m² of housing were commissioned in Tatarstan (47 per cent of the annual plan).

As for social mortgage programme, 40 houses with total area of 86.1 thousand m² were constructed.

Implementation of the programme on relocation of citizens from condemned buildings is underway. In 2014, people are to move from 974 houses in 36 municipalities.

Ildar Khalikov was also reported on construction of all-purpose sports grounds in municipal regions. Under the programme of 2013, construction works have been completed at 97 sports grounds in 33 regions, 151 sports grounds in 45 regions are to be constructed in 2014. Ildar Khalikov asked heads of the regions to enhance control over construction works.

Minister of Transport Lenar Safin reported on construction of hard-surface roads in townships. Minister of Agriculture Marat Akhmetov, in his turn, told about the situation on Tatarstan fields.
