On June 27, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov took part in annual shareholders meeting of OAO Tatneft.
Making report on Tatneft activity in 2013, company’s Director General Nail Maganov told that the company produced 26 million and 107 thousand tonnes of oil.
According to estimates of the international consulting company “Miller and Lents”, the proven reserves of OAO Tatneft for the beginning of 2013 made 847.3 million tonnes of oil. Sales proceeds made 363 billion roubles, net profit – 63.85 billion roubles. The sum of taxes paid to all budgets amounted to 323 billion roubles. Tatneft investments made 85 billion roubles.
7.6 million tonnes of oil were processed at OAO TANECO. The Integrated Hydrocracking Unit was put into operation in March.
Speaking at the meeting, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov said that republic’s prosperity and successful implementation of 30 social and economic programmes depend on stable work of oil workers. Tatneft is one of biggest tax payers in Russia, according to results of the year the company directed 300 billion roubles of taxes to the federal budget.
It was noted that the company’s activity is aimed at innovative activity. Therefore, for 20 years oil production has increased, notwithstanding difficult conditions.
Rustam Minnikhanov also noted company’s achievements in construction of TANECO oil refinery and development of tyre industry.
Among priority tasks Rustam Minnikhanov pointed out maintenance of achieved positions in oil production during the next 30 years, and refining of oil into petrochemicals.
Members of the Board decided directing 30 per cent of net profit for paying dividends.
ZAO Energy Consulting/Audit was again approved as company’s audit company.
On May 26, speaking at a briefing in the Cabinet of Ministers of the republic held in a videoconference mode with participation of all municipal regions of Tatarstan and focused on events scheduled for June 1, International Children’s Day, as well as the implementation of the “Summer in Tatarstan” programme, Deputy Prime Minister of the republic Leyla Fazleeva appealed that parents should closely supervise their children during recreational activities near water in order to prevent accidents.
On 18 May ay the CIPR conference in Nizhniy Nogorod the Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Roman Shaykhutdinov, the Rector of the Innopolis University Aleksandr Gasnikpov and the Vice-rector of the University Yevgeny Bobrov will take part at round tables session of the conference.
Experts will discuss the role of Tatarstan and Innopolis as one of the key technological centers of the country and how regional innovative platforms help to solve tasks of the whole Russian industry. A special emphasis will be placed on the digital transformation of the oil and gas sector and how large clusters and scientific and technological centers are becoming drivers of industry change.
On 16 May, speaking at a meeting in the Government House of the republic held by the regional Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin with participation of the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the Minister of Agriculture and Food of the republic Marat Zyabbarov reported that the sowing of spring crops is in full swing in the republic with 1m 38 thousand hectares or 61 per cent of the planned have been sown.
On May 14, on the sidelines of the XVII International Economic Forum “Russia-the Islamic World: KazanForum”, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin and Head of the Federal Service for Accreditation Dmitry Volvach signed an agreement on interaction and cooperation in the development of the halal industry.
