Rustam Minnikhanov goes for a walk in the historic center of Kazan

On July 6, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov went for a walk in the historic center of Kazan.
The walk began near the Kazan Kremlin in Bolshaya Krasnaya and Baturina streets, where Rustam Minnikhanov was presented a draft construction project, which implies reconstruction of historic buildings in accordance with archive documents.
Rustam Minnikhanov approved the project in general and proposed agreeing it with Chief Architect of Kazan Tatyana Prokofyeva.
The next object the President went to was the complex of buildings at the Kazan Virgin Monastery. Rustam Minnikhanov looked around the architectural complex of the monastery, including the former “sisterly buildings” (which housed the tobacco factory during the Soviet period). It has not been decided yet what will be located there.
Then, Rustam Minnikhanov was shown the object of cultural heritage of the regional importance, the house built in the 18th century in 16, Bolshaya Krasnaya Street, which belongs to ASG investment group of companies. The façade of the building has been reconstructed and the next stage of internal reconstruction works will begin this year.
The city park “Black Lake” was the next object the President visited. Minnikhanov got familiar with the park reconstruction project, which includes the cleaning of the lake, construction of a wooden pier, fountain, ship modeling club, children's playground, summer cafe and restaurant, and skating rink.
The last object visited by Rustam Minnikhanov was the building in 1/27, Theatralnaya Street, which has been completely repaired and will be available for rent.

On 15 December, speaking at a meeting of the competition committee of the regional public competition “The Manager of the Year” about its results in 2025, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin said that the list of 155 participants (nominees), who are heads of enterprises and organizations from various industries and sectors of the economy, for the competition was formed based on recommendations from regional ministries and departments, city and district municipalities, employers' associations and the Federation of Trade Unions of the republic.
On 6 December speaking at a regional meeting held by the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov in the Government House of the republic with all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the regional Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Utilities Sector Marat Ayzatullin reported about progress in implementation of the of multi-apartment houses capital overhaul programme.
On 5 December, congratulating volunteers with the International Volunteers Day, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Leyla Fazleeva wrote in her address: “
Your boundless kindness, sincere desire to help others and active civic position deserve special recognition and deep gratitude. There are over 5,000 volunteer associations operating successfully in Tatarstan, with a total membership of over 220,000 caring people of all ages and professions. Every year the contribution of volunteers into public life of the republic becomes more noticeable.
On 4 December Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Shamil Gafarov, who is the Chief of Staff of the Office of the Cabinet of Ministers of the republic, took part in a strategic session on the establishment of an inter-university campus in the republic being held at the Kazan Aircraft University on 4-6 December with participation of more than 100 people and more than 40 experts in politics, economy, science, education and industry from all over Russia.
