On July 8, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov, Tatarstan Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov, Tatarstan Mufti Kamil Samigullin attended the II Regional iftar dated to Ramadan month at Kazan-Arena stadium.
By and large, about three thousand believers, low-income and disabled people, from Tatarstan and other Russian regions took part in the event.
The event began with the reading of the surahs of the Holy Koran, then mufti Kamil khazrat Samigullin and imam-khatibs from Tatarstan regions delivered a preaching.
After evening prayers, all the guests, without exception, were treated to lamb pilaf. According to event managers, about a ton of pilaf was cooked specially for the iftar. Also, funds were raised for the Crimean orphans from Bakhchisarai at the event.
In his interview with reporters Kamil Samigullin reminded that the first regional Iftar was held in Kazan in 2011 and gathered nearly 1.5 thousand participants. "This year, there are more participants at the event," Kamil Samigullin noted said. He also did not rule out that the first iftar of federal significance will be held in Kazan next year.
The charity event was organized by the Spiritual Directorate of Tatarstan Muslims, Association of Entrepreneurs of Muslims of Russia and Directorate of Kazan-Arena stadium.
On 15 December, speaking at a meeting of the competition committee of the regional public competition “The Manager of the Year” about its results in 2025, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin said that the list of 155 participants (nominees), who are heads of enterprises and organizations from various industries and sectors of the economy, for the competition was formed based on recommendations from regional ministries and departments, city and district municipalities, employers' associations and the Federation of Trade Unions of the republic.
On 6 December speaking at a regional meeting held by the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov in the Government House of the republic with all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the regional Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Utilities Sector Marat Ayzatullin reported about progress in implementation of the of multi-apartment houses capital overhaul programme.
On 5 December, congratulating volunteers with the International Volunteers Day, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Leyla Fazleeva wrote in her address: “
Your boundless kindness, sincere desire to help others and active civic position deserve special recognition and deep gratitude. There are over 5,000 volunteer associations operating successfully in Tatarstan, with a total membership of over 220,000 caring people of all ages and professions. Every year the contribution of volunteers into public life of the republic becomes more noticeable.
On 4 December Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Shamil Gafarov, who is the Chief of Staff of the Office of the Cabinet of Ministers of the republic, took part in a strategic session on the establishment of an inter-university campus in the republic being held at the Kazan Aircraft University on 4-6 December with participation of more than 100 people and more than 40 experts in politics, economy, science, education and industry from all over Russia.
