Rustam Minnikhanov requires taking measures on providing accessibility of sports venues for citizens

Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov addressed responsible government employees with requirement to deal with providing accessibility of sports venues for citizens and pay special attention to sports complexes that were under supervision of federal educational organizations after summer Universiade 2013.
To the point, on July 21, at a business Monday at Kazan Mayor’s Office, it was noted that citizens complain about accessibility of some sports venues, such as Tulpar complex of Kazan State Agrarian University, and Burevestnik of Volga state academy of physical culture, sport and tourism.
Rustam Minnikhanov reminded that these sports venues were transferred to educational institutions as the heritage of summer Universiade 2013 in order to strengthen their material and technical base and provide opportunities for doing sports in modern comfortable conditions.
However, it is also important to consider citizens’ interests, the President said.
Rustam Minnikhanov required taking measures to change the current situation and provide accessibility of sports venues.

On 15 December, speaking at a meeting of the competition committee of the regional public competition “The Manager of the Year” about its results in 2025, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin said that the list of 155 participants (nominees), who are heads of enterprises and organizations from various industries and sectors of the economy, for the competition was formed based on recommendations from regional ministries and departments, city and district municipalities, employers' associations and the Federation of Trade Unions of the republic.
On 6 December speaking at a regional meeting held by the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov in the Government House of the republic with all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the regional Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Utilities Sector Marat Ayzatullin reported about progress in implementation of the of multi-apartment houses capital overhaul programme.
On 5 December, congratulating volunteers with the International Volunteers Day, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Leyla Fazleeva wrote in her address: “
Your boundless kindness, sincere desire to help others and active civic position deserve special recognition and deep gratitude. There are over 5,000 volunteer associations operating successfully in Tatarstan, with a total membership of over 220,000 caring people of all ages and professions. Every year the contribution of volunteers into public life of the republic becomes more noticeable.
On 4 December Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Shamil Gafarov, who is the Chief of Staff of the Office of the Cabinet of Ministers of the republic, took part in a strategic session on the establishment of an inter-university campus in the republic being held at the Kazan Aircraft University on 4-6 December with participation of more than 100 people and more than 40 experts in politics, economy, science, education and industry from all over Russia.
