Mintimer Shaimiev meets with Chairman of Moscow city Duma Vladimir Platonov

On July 25, during his meeting with Chairman of Moscow city Duma Vladimir Platonov, Tatarstan State Counsellor, Chairman of the Board of trustees of “Revival” Regional Foundation Mintimer Shaimiev presented a cultural-historical project of federal significance “Cultural heritage: the ancient town of Bolgar and island town of Sviyazhsk”.
He told about works that were done for four years focusing on objects reconstructed under the auspices of “Revival foundation”. Vladimir Platonov shared his impressions after the excursion around the Kazan Kremlin.
Problems of preservation of cultural and historical heritage and development of local self-government in the country were discussed at the meeting with the participation of Chairman of State Council Farid Mukhametshin.
Vladimir Platonov will visit the Marriage Registration Palace, Aquatics Palace, “Kazan Arena” stadium, Kazan IT park, and the island town of Sviyazhsk”.
On 12 January, congratulating employees of the prosecutor’s office with their professional holiday - Day of the employee of the Prosecutor's Office of the Russian Federation- Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin wrote in his address:
“For more than three centuries the prosecutor's office has been the guardian of state and public security as well as constitutional rights and freedoms of citizens of our country.
On 10 January, speaking at a meeting held by Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin in the Government House of the republic with all municipality regions taking part in it via videoconference, the regional Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Utilities Sector Marat Ayzatutllin informed that in the current year the Ministry will take part in implementation of five national projects and three state programmes with planned construction and capital overhaul of 172 facilities for the total sum of 17bn rubles.
On 10 January, speaking at a meeting held by Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin in the Government House of the republic with all municipality regions taking part in it via videoconference, the regional Minister of Agriculture and Food Marat Zyabbarov informed that it is expected to achieve a comparable growth of produce of 1.5%, including that in food production - at least 2.6% in the agricultural sector.
On 4 January Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin, who is the First Deputy Chairman of the Commission of prevention and elimination of emergency situation and ensuring fire safety of the republic, has taken a decision to put into operation the “Buran” (Snow storm) plan in Tatarstan starting from 2 pm on 4 January until the consequences of adverse meteorological events are eliminated by ministries, departments and organizations which ensure the smooth movement of road and rail transport in winter.
