Ildar Khalikov takes part in closing ceremony of “Summer campus of Presidential Academy 2014”

On July 28, speaking at the closing ceremony of “Summer campus of Presidential Academy 2014” held at Ski Sports Complex “Kazan”, Tatarstan Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov said that it is a unique opportunity and experience for participants of the event to communicate with famous and successful people, and get positive emotions.
To the point, best students from 20 Russian regions took part in international educational forum “Summer campus of Presidential Academy 2014” that was held in Tatarstan for the third time. By and large, 250 people, including 30 foreign students took part in the event.
Speaking at the ceremony, Ildar Khalikov asked students about places they had visited in Tatarstan. The students said they had been to the Kazan Kremlin, island town of Sviyazhsk, football stadium “Kazan-Arena”, Aquatics Palace, and Rowing Centre.
Ildar Khalikov noted that many students want to be participants of the forum as all conditions for communication, recreation, exchange of experience, and establishment of new contacts are provided here. The Prime Minister wished students not to forget things they had learnt there.

On 8 May, speaking at a meeting held by the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov in the Government House of the republic with participation of the Acting Chairman of the State Council of the republic Marat Akhmetov and the regional Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin, the Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Utilities Sector of the republic Marat Ayzatullin reported that capital overhaul of social facilities is in full swing in the republic with 170 educational facilities having been included into regional and federal programmes.
On 4 May at a briefing held in the Tatarstan Government House it was told that currently there are 92 combat veterans, the last witnesses of the Great Patriotic War (WW II) of 1941-1945, living in the republic. The briefing also informed about veterans’ support measures and how the republic is planning to celebrate the Victory Day on 9 May.
The Deputy Prime Minister of the republic Leyla Fazleeva told that names of 353 Heroes of the Soviet Union from Tatarstan “ are immortalized in street names, on memorials, in monuments and squares and, of course, in our memory”. “The Victory Day is the day of memory, mourning and joy. It is the event which today should be clearly understandable to all young people and younger generation of Tatarstan,” she said.

On 24 April in the Government House of the republic, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin held a joint meeting the Council for Enforcement of Legislation of Languages of Tatarstan and the organizational committee for celebrations of the 140th birthday of Gabdulla Tukay which summarized results of work of the regional law enforcement on official languages of the republic and considered progress of the implementation of the plan of main events for preparation and celebration of the 140th birthday of Gabdulla Tukay .
