Major repair works underway at all objects in 40 municipalities

On August 10, at a regional meeting held by Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov at Tatarstan Government House, Minister of Construction Irek Faizullin told that major repair works are underway in multi-apartment houses in 40 municipal regions.

The Minister reported on programmes implemented in the republic, in particular, capital repair of schools, “Accessible environment”, and replacement of boilers at state-funded organisations.

As for August 8, major repair works are being done in 159 schools.

Total funding of “Accessible environment” programmes makes 539,6 million roubles. 135 social objects are being adapted. 40 municipal regions are included in the programme of 2014.

Total amount of funding of the programme on providing accessibility of schools will make 271,9 million roubles in 2014.

Rustam Minnikhanov congratulated workers of the construction industry on Builder’s day noting that Tatarstan is one of leading regions in the industry. He noted that further development of the republic depends on implementation of such projects as construction of new cultural and social objects and new innovative sites.
