Ildar Khalikov meets with Consul-General of Turkey in Kazan

On August 12, at his meeting with Consul-General of Turkey in Kazan Sabri Tunc Angili, Tatarstan Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov conveyed greetings to Recep Tayyip Erdogan on winning the presidential elections in the Turkish Republic.
Ildar Khalikov stressed that good personal relationships were established between the First Tatarstan President Mintimer Shaimiev, Rustam Minnikhanov and newly elected Turkish President.
“It is important that Mr Erdogan won the elections in the conditions of absolute openness and democratic state, taking into consideration the strong opposition,” Ildar Khalikov said.
Head of Tatarstan Government thanked Sabri Tunc Angili for his successful work in the position of Consul-General of Turkey in Kazan.
Participants of the meeting expressed confidence that Recep Tayyip Erdogan would support development of cooperation with Tatarstan within the framework of Russia-Turkey relations.
On 2 March in her address on the occasion of the Mentor’s Day, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Leyla Fazleeva congratulated residents of the republic with the event and wrote: “Since 2025 this holiday established by Russian President Vladimir Putin has occupied a worthy place in the calendar of significant dates of our country, emphasizing the high status and significance of the mentoring mission.
On 28 February, speaking at a meeting held by Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin in the Government House of the republic with all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the Director of the Fund “The Institute of Development of Tatarstan Cities” Nailya Nagumanova informed about preparation to the implementation of the Our Yard programme in the republic.

On 28 February, speaking at a meeting held by Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin in the Government House of the republic with all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference , the Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Utilities Sector of the republic Marat Ayzatullin informed that 170 educational facilities will have capital overhaul by federal and regional programmes, having added that the bulk of the projects are planned to begin at the start of the summer holidays.
