On August 27, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov took part in laying a capsule at the construction site of a new indoor ice rink with artificial ice in the 26th micro district of Kazan (89 a, Chuikova St.).
In general, the project presupposes the construction of the complex, which will comprise an ice hockey pitch, a gym and auxiliary facilities. I want to thank everyone who made this victory.” He stressed that, thanks to the support of Rustam Minnikhanov the number of sports facilities is constantly increasing in the republic, offering more opportunities to Kazan citizens to go in for sports and lead a healthy lifestyle.
"Our new sports victory gave us this ice palace. This is a very prestigious, that our team showed such a result and the Russian President made such a decision. This is the 10th palace in Kazan and 40th in the republic. This shows the popularity of hockey, which is played by adults, young people and children,” Rustam Minnikhanov said.
