Ildar Khalikov: “KAMAZ” founders performed a great feat on the Kama River

On August 28, at a meeting of “KAMAZ” founders in Naberezhnye Chelny, Tatarstan Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov said that people who founded “KAMAZ” plant and the town of Naberezhnye Chelny performed a great feat.
The solemn event began with trooping the flags of Russia, Tatarstan, Naberezhnye Chelny and KAMAZ Colour.
Tatarstan Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov addressed participants of the meeting with welcome speech on behalf of Tatarstan Parliament and Government. He stressed that during the construction of KAMAZ plant people of different professions were doing one work together.
The Prime Minister noted that KAMAZ team overcame many difficulties in 90s, and the fire at the engine plant.
Ildar Khalikov wished participants of the meeting health, and Naberezhnye Chelny workers new labour achievements. Also, he handed over state awards to KAMAZ veterans.
Deputy of Russian Duma Alfiya Kogogina, KAMAZ Director General Sergey Kogogin, and Mayor of Naberezhnye Chelny Vasil Shaikhraziev, who took part in the event, delivered congratulatory speeches.
On 15 December, speaking at a meeting of the competition committee of the regional public competition “The Manager of the Year” about its results in 2025, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin said that the list of 155 participants (nominees), who are heads of enterprises and organizations from various industries and sectors of the economy, for the competition was formed based on recommendations from regional ministries and departments, city and district municipalities, employers' associations and the Federation of Trade Unions of the republic.
On 6 December speaking at a regional meeting held by the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov in the Government House of the republic with all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the regional Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Utilities Sector Marat Ayzatullin reported about progress in implementation of the of multi-apartment houses capital overhaul programme.
On 5 December, congratulating volunteers with the International Volunteers Day, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Leyla Fazleeva wrote in her address: “
Your boundless kindness, sincere desire to help others and active civic position deserve special recognition and deep gratitude. There are over 5,000 volunteer associations operating successfully in Tatarstan, with a total membership of over 220,000 caring people of all ages and professions. Every year the contribution of volunteers into public life of the republic becomes more noticeable.
On 4 December Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Shamil Gafarov, who is the Chief of Staff of the Office of the Cabinet of Ministers of the republic, took part in a strategic session on the establishment of an inter-university campus in the republic being held at the Kazan Aircraft University on 4-6 December with participation of more than 100 people and more than 40 experts in politics, economy, science, education and industry from all over Russia.
