Ildar Khalikov takes part in events dedicated to 50th anniversary of Jalil township

On August 30, in Sarmanovsky region, Tatarstan Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov, Director General of Tatneft Oil Company Nail Maganov and other officials took part in events dedicated to the Republic Day and the 50th anniversary since founding Jalil township.
The honourable guests attended a ceremony of moving in a new house built at the expense of Tatneft under the regional social mortgage programme.
Ildar Khalikov also visited Dzhalil children's art school reconstructed using the funds of oil workers and renovated cinema, which is not inferior to big city cinemas in equipment and offers its visitors 3D movies.
Speaking at the solemn event, on behalf of the regional leadership and Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov Ildar Khalikov congratulated local dwellers on the 50th anniversary of their township, particularly appreciating changes taken place in the field of land improvement in recent years. Head of Tatarstan Cabinet of Ministers emphasized the role of Tatneft in the wellbeing of the whole oil region, calling the oil company one of the most socially-oriented in the republic, and expressed his particular gratitude to the highly professional team of Dhalil oil workers.
Nail Maganov also congratulated the township dwellers on the holiday.
On 8 May, speaking at a meeting held by the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov in the Government House of the republic with participation of the Acting Chairman of the State Council of the republic Marat Akhmetov and the regional Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin, the Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Utilities Sector of the republic Marat Ayzatullin reported that capital overhaul of social facilities is in full swing in the republic with 170 educational facilities having been included into regional and federal programmes.
On 4 May at a briefing held in the Tatarstan Government House it was told that currently there are 92 combat veterans, the last witnesses of the Great Patriotic War (WW II) of 1941-1945, living in the republic. The briefing also informed about veterans’ support measures and how the republic is planning to celebrate the Victory Day on 9 May.
The Deputy Prime Minister of the republic Leyla Fazleeva told that names of 353 Heroes of the Soviet Union from Tatarstan “ are immortalized in street names, on memorials, in monuments and squares and, of course, in our memory”. “The Victory Day is the day of memory, mourning and joy. It is the event which today should be clearly understandable to all young people and younger generation of Tatarstan,” she said.

On 24 April in the Government House of the republic, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin held a joint meeting the Council for Enforcement of Legislation of Languages of Tatarstan and the organizational committee for celebrations of the 140th birthday of Gabdulla Tukay which summarized results of work of the regional law enforcement on official languages of the republic and considered progress of the implementation of the plan of main events for preparation and celebration of the 140th birthday of Gabdulla Tukay .
