Rustam Minnikhanov meets Deputy Chairman of Turkmenistan Cabinet of Ministers Baimurad Hodzhamuhammedov

On September 3, at his meeting with Deputy Chairman of Turkmenistan Cabinet of Ministers Baimurad Hodzhamuhammedov, who arrived in Tatarstan to take part in Tatarstan oil-gas and chemical forum that opened today in Kazan, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov thanked him for his visit and Turkmenistan leadership for their attention paid to Tatarstan.
"I am pleased that relations between Tatarstan and Turkmenistan are becoming closer" Minnikhanov said in particular. He also noted that last week he met Turkmenistan President at the ceremony of inauguration of the President of the Republic of Turkey in Ankara (August 28, 2014).
According to Rustam Minnikhanov, the participation of Turkmenistan in Tatarstan oil-gas and chemical forum is the evidence that Tatarstan and Turkmenistan have strong relations aimed at further strengthening of cooperation between Russia and Turkmenistan.
Rustam Minnikhanov went on to say that Tatarstan focuses on the development of cooperation in the field of oil production, refining, petrochemistry, and at the forum professionals have the opportunity to discuss topical industry issues, share their experiences and get acquainted with the innovative developments of their partners, which will give a new impetus to the development of interindustrial cooperation between oil, gas and petrochemical industry workers, machine builders, power engineers, Rustam Minnikhanov said.
Tatarstan President also noted that Tatneft Oil Company has been cooperating with the Turkmenneft State Concern in the framework of the signed contract.
“During your stay in Tatarstan you will visit a number of production facilities, including Tatneft Oil Company, where you will see some best practices and technologies used by our oil companies in their activities,” Rustam Minnikhanov said, addressing Baimurad Hodzhamuhammedov.
In general, according to Rustam Minnikhanov, Tatarstan and Turkmenistan have good opportunities to expand cooperation in various areas of the economy. He also reminded that the Days of Culture of Turkmenistan will be held in Tatarstan in November this year.
Tomorrow, on September 4, Baimurad Hodzhamuhammedov will visit Almetyevsk, where he will have a meeting with the management of Tatneft Oil Company and look around the company premises, oil and gas production department and Almetyevsk State Petroleum Institute, as well as head for Nizhnekamsk, where he will get acquainted with the activity of TANECO Oil Refining and Petrochemical Complex and Nizhnekamsk Tire Factory.
Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister – Minister of Industry and Trade Ravil Zaripov, Aide to Tatarstan President Radik Gimatdinov, Director General of Tataneft Oil Company Nail Maganov and other officials took part in the meeting.

On 15 December, speaking at a meeting of the competition committee of the regional public competition “The Manager of the Year” about its results in 2025, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin said that the list of 155 participants (nominees), who are heads of enterprises and organizations from various industries and sectors of the economy, for the competition was formed based on recommendations from regional ministries and departments, city and district municipalities, employers' associations and the Federation of Trade Unions of the republic.
On 6 December speaking at a regional meeting held by the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov in the Government House of the republic with all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the regional Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Utilities Sector Marat Ayzatullin reported about progress in implementation of the of multi-apartment houses capital overhaul programme.

On 4 December Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Shamil Gafarov, who is the Chief of Staff of the Office of the Cabinet of Ministers of the republic, took part in a strategic session on the establishment of an inter-university campus in the republic being held at the Kazan Aircraft University on 4-6 December with participation of more than 100 people and more than 40 experts in politics, economy, science, education and industry from all over Russia.
