Use of petrochemicals in building industry discussed in Kazan

On September 3, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov took part in a round table session themed “Advanced use of regional chemical and petrochemical products in building industry” was held within the framework of Tatarstan Oil, Gas and Petrochemicals Forum in Kazan.

Opening the session, Rustam Minnikhanov noted the importance of discussed topic.

Tatarstan Minister of Construction, Architecture, and Utilities Irek Faizullin, who took part in the session, said that within the last few years regional building industry considerably improved in terms of product range.

Director General of OAO “Tatneftekhiminvest-holding” Rafinat Yarullin told about petrochemical companies that manufacture products for building industry, namely Kazanorgsintez, Techstroi, Karpov chemical plant, Polimatiz, Preiss-Daimler - Tatneft-Alabuga Glass Fiber, and other enterprises.

Head of Tatinvestgrazhdanproekt Adel Khusnutdinov told about prospects of use of composite polymeric fittings instead of metal.

Director General of ZAO “Kazan Giproniiaviaprom” Boris Tikhomirov told about use of petrochemicals in building projects.
