Rustam Minnikhanov meets Board Chariman of Hawtai Motor Group Zhang Xiugen

On September 4, at their meeting at Tatarstan Government House, Tatarstan President and Board Chariman of Chinese Hawtai Motor Group Mr Zhang Xiugen discussed the possibility of establishing a production facility in Tatarstan and issues related to the strengthening of mutually beneficial cooperation.
Welcoming the guests, Rustam Minnikhanov said that Tatarstan as one of the industrially developed Russian regions has established serious contacts with Chinese businessmen and representatives of many Chinese companies are already doing business in Tatarstan. He added that Tatarstan companies also made lots of business trips to China.
"Your company is quite well known, and we are actively working on establishing cooperation with you", Rustam Minnikhanov said, addressing Board Chariman of Hawtai Motor Group.
Mr. Zhang Xiugen, in his turn, said that yesterday during their visit to Tatarstan representatives of his company visited the special economic zone "Alabuga", where they were told about the potential of the zone, including tax preferences available for its resident companies. "We were impressed by the results the SEZ "Alabuga” has achieved", he said.
Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister – Minister of Industry and Trade Ravil Zaripov, Aide to Tatarstan President Radik Gimatdinov, Chief Executive of Tatasratn Investment Development Agency Linar Yakupov and other officials took part in the meeting.

On 20 December, speaking at a meeting held by the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov in the Government House of the republic with participation of the regional Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin and all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the First Deputy Minister of Construction, Architecture and House Utilities Sector of the republic Damir Shaydullin informed that huge work in capital overhaul of 713 social and cultural facilities have been completed in the republic with the total cost of work of 15bn rubles.
On 20 December, in his address on the occasion of the Russian Security Bodies Officers Day, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin congratulated employees and old stagers of the service with their professional holiday and wrote: “

On 15 December, speaking at a meeting of the competition committee of the regional public competition “The Manager of the Year” about its results in 2025, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin said that the list of 155 participants (nominees), who are heads of enterprises and organizations from various industries and sectors of the economy, for the competition was formed based on recommendations from regional ministries and departments, city and district municipalities, employers' associations and the Federation of Trade Unions of the republic.
On 6 December speaking at a regional meeting held by the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov in the Government House of the republic with all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the regional Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Utilities Sector Marat Ayzatullin reported about progress in implementation of the of multi-apartment houses capital overhaul programme.
