Rustam Minnikhanov visits Russian-Vietnamese Tropical research and technological center in Hanoi

On September 8, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov visited Russian-Vietnamese Tropical research and technological center in Hanoi. Presentation of the centre and its research activity was prepared for Tatarstan delegation.
The centre founded in 1987 has two branches in Ho Chi Minh and Việt Trì. It specializes in tropical ecology, tropical medicine, and tropical materials science.
Rustam Minnikhanov was told about environmental research laboratory and tropical medicine, including medical and biological consequences of the Vietnam War, new and old specially dangerous diseases, and work physiology in the tropics.
Vietnam as well as Russia pays much attention to the activity of the tropical centre.
As for tropical materials science, this area is very important for industrial enterprises, which supply equipment to different countries.
Representatives of the research centre mentioned some problems they face in their work, such as lack of scientific personnel and funding.
Rustam Minnikhanov said that such researches are interesting for Tatarstan as it is an export-oriented region. He noted that plastics, automotive produce, ships, helicopters, optics and other products are manufactured in the republic.
“Your centre is very unique, you have gained wide experience and unique information,” Rustam Minnikhanov said addressing representatives of Russian-Vietnamese Tropical research and technological center.

On 20 December, speaking at a meeting held by the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov in the Government House of the republic with participation of the regional Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin and all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the First Deputy Minister of Construction, Architecture and House Utilities Sector of the republic Damir Shaydullin informed that huge work in capital overhaul of 713 social and cultural facilities have been completed in the republic with the total cost of work of 15bn rubles.
On 20 December, in his address on the occasion of the Russian Security Bodies Officers Day, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin congratulated employees and old stagers of the service with their professional holiday and wrote: “

On 15 December, speaking at a meeting of the competition committee of the regional public competition “The Manager of the Year” about its results in 2025, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin said that the list of 155 participants (nominees), who are heads of enterprises and organizations from various industries and sectors of the economy, for the competition was formed based on recommendations from regional ministries and departments, city and district municipalities, employers' associations and the Federation of Trade Unions of the republic.
On 6 December speaking at a regional meeting held by the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov in the Government House of the republic with all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the regional Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Utilities Sector Marat Ayzatullin reported about progress in implementation of the of multi-apartment houses capital overhaul programme.
