Rustam Minnikhanov: “Singapore experience plays an important role in Tatarstan achievements”

On September 10, at his meeting with Singapore businessmen within the framework of Russia Singapore Business Forum, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov said that Singapore experience in economic and social spheres, and public administration played an important role in development of Tatarstan in the last few years.
Rustam Minnikhanov thanked participants of the meeting for their attention paid to the republic. “Tatarstan is one of Russian leading regions. The experience we gained in Singapore played a great role in our achievements,” he said.
The President noted that during his visits to Singapore he realized that people are the basis of success in any business, and the competitive environment was created in Singapore.
“Singapore demonstrates the obvious example that people should work in a consistent way to achieve results,” Rustam Minnikhanov summarized.
Chief Executive of Tatarstan Investment Development Agency Linar Yakupov, who took part in the meeting, presented the investment potential of the republic, and Tatarstan Vice-Premier – Minister of Information and Communications Roman Shaikhutdinov told about Innopolis IT city that is being constructed near Kazan and offered Singapore companies to pay attention to opportunities provided there.
On 15 December, speaking at a meeting of the competition committee of the regional public competition “The Manager of the Year” about its results in 2025, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin said that the list of 155 participants (nominees), who are heads of enterprises and organizations from various industries and sectors of the economy, for the competition was formed based on recommendations from regional ministries and departments, city and district municipalities, employers' associations and the Federation of Trade Unions of the republic.
On 6 December speaking at a regional meeting held by the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov in the Government House of the republic with all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the regional Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Utilities Sector Marat Ayzatullin reported about progress in implementation of the of multi-apartment houses capital overhaul programme.
On 5 December, congratulating volunteers with the International Volunteers Day, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Leyla Fazleeva wrote in her address: “
Your boundless kindness, sincere desire to help others and active civic position deserve special recognition and deep gratitude. There are over 5,000 volunteer associations operating successfully in Tatarstan, with a total membership of over 220,000 caring people of all ages and professions. Every year the contribution of volunteers into public life of the republic becomes more noticeable.
On 4 December Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Shamil Gafarov, who is the Chief of Staff of the Office of the Cabinet of Ministers of the republic, took part in a strategic session on the establishment of an inter-university campus in the republic being held at the Kazan Aircraft University on 4-6 December with participation of more than 100 people and more than 40 experts in politics, economy, science, education and industry from all over Russia.
