Tatarstan Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov arrives on a working visit in Chelyabinsk

On September 11, Tatarstan Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov arrived in Chelyabinsk to visit production facilities and meet Acting Governor of Chelyabinsk region Boris Dubrovsky.
Ildar Khalikov will also meet Tatar diaspora of the region and visit agricultural complex “Ariant”.
Upon his arrival Ildar Khalikov visited Chelyabinsk pipe plant to see production of single-joint big-diameter welded pipes. Due to this production Russian fuel and energy sector can provide itself with big-diameter pipes. These pipes can be used in pipeline laying in permafrost areas, earthquake zones and under the sea.
The Prime Minister also got familiar with foundry production for fuel and energy industry at a new Russian-Italian steel plant OOO “BVK”, the most state-of-the-art plant in Russia and Europe.
Due to the electric-arc steelmaking unit with liquid steel degassing, the plant can produce high-quality carbon and stainless steel. The end customers of the produce are Russian oil and gas companies, enterprises of energy and military industrial sector.
The plant production capacity is 25,000 tonnes of foundry products per year.
On 15 December, speaking at a meeting of the competition committee of the regional public competition “The Manager of the Year” about its results in 2025, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin said that the list of 155 participants (nominees), who are heads of enterprises and organizations from various industries and sectors of the economy, for the competition was formed based on recommendations from regional ministries and departments, city and district municipalities, employers' associations and the Federation of Trade Unions of the republic.
On 6 December speaking at a regional meeting held by the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov in the Government House of the republic with all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the regional Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Utilities Sector Marat Ayzatullin reported about progress in implementation of the of multi-apartment houses capital overhaul programme.
On 5 December, congratulating volunteers with the International Volunteers Day, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Leyla Fazleeva wrote in her address: “
Your boundless kindness, sincere desire to help others and active civic position deserve special recognition and deep gratitude. There are over 5,000 volunteer associations operating successfully in Tatarstan, with a total membership of over 220,000 caring people of all ages and professions. Every year the contribution of volunteers into public life of the republic becomes more noticeable.
On 4 December Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Shamil Gafarov, who is the Chief of Staff of the Office of the Cabinet of Ministers of the republic, took part in a strategic session on the establishment of an inter-university campus in the republic being held at the Kazan Aircraft University on 4-6 December with participation of more than 100 people and more than 40 experts in politics, economy, science, education and industry from all over Russia.
