Ildar Khalikov meets members of Tatar community of Chelyabinsk region

On September 11, during his working trip to Chelyabinsk, Tatarstan Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov had a meeting with members of Tatar community of Chelyabinsk region.
At present, about 220,000 Tatars live in Chelyabinsk region. There are 25 ethnic and cultural associations of Tatars and 35 Tatar performance ensembles in the region. Tatars are represented in the executive branch, the Legislative Assembly of Chelyabinsk region and business. Two local Tatar-language newspapers, The Hezine and The Tatar Ruhy, are issued one-two times a week. The Tatar national festival Sabantuy is held annually in the region with the support of the Republic of Tatarstan.
Ildar Khalikov thanked the local government for good attitude to Tatars living in the region and work being done to preserve the culture and traditions of the Tatar people.
During his working visit to Chelyabinsk region, Ildar Khalikov also attended a solemn ceremony of the final stage of the national contest "Tatarochka - 2014".
Chairman of Government of Chelyabinsk region Sergey Komyakov, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister - Minister of Agriculture and Food Marat Akhmetov and other officials also took part in the meeting.
On 15 December, speaking at a meeting of the competition committee of the regional public competition “The Manager of the Year” about its results in 2025, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin said that the list of 155 participants (nominees), who are heads of enterprises and organizations from various industries and sectors of the economy, for the competition was formed based on recommendations from regional ministries and departments, city and district municipalities, employers' associations and the Federation of Trade Unions of the republic.
On 6 December speaking at a regional meeting held by the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov in the Government House of the republic with all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the regional Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Utilities Sector Marat Ayzatullin reported about progress in implementation of the of multi-apartment houses capital overhaul programme.
On 5 December, congratulating volunteers with the International Volunteers Day, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Leyla Fazleeva wrote in her address: “
Your boundless kindness, sincere desire to help others and active civic position deserve special recognition and deep gratitude. There are over 5,000 volunteer associations operating successfully in Tatarstan, with a total membership of over 220,000 caring people of all ages and professions. Every year the contribution of volunteers into public life of the republic becomes more noticeable.
On 4 December Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Shamil Gafarov, who is the Chief of Staff of the Office of the Cabinet of Ministers of the republic, took part in a strategic session on the establishment of an inter-university campus in the republic being held at the Kazan Aircraft University on 4-6 December with participation of more than 100 people and more than 40 experts in politics, economy, science, education and industry from all over Russia.
