Big gala concert of Tatarstan masters of art held in Astana

On September 19, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov, Akim of Astana Imangali Tasmagambetov and official delegations of Tatarstan and Kazakhstan took part in a big gala concert of Tatarstan masters of art held at the Palace of Peace and Reconciliation in Astana within the framework of Days of the Republic of Tatarstan in Kazakhstan.
Before the concert the officials looked around the photo exhibition of Tatarstan and exhibition masters of art in the palace hall.
The concert began with a performance of State symphonic orchestra of the Republic of Tatarstan conducted by Aleksandr Sladkovsky and State Song and Dance Ensemble of the Republic of Tatarstan. The presentation about Tatarstan was also shown during the event.
Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov and Akim of Astana Imangali Tasmagambetov addressed the audience with the welcoming speech.
“Welcome to Astana, our brothers. Today we have the honour to take part in such a historic event, when a young capital of Kazakhstan is hosting ethnically close, economically strong and spiritually rich guest and friend – the Republic of Tatarstan,” Imangali Tasmagambetov said. He reminded that 10 years ago Astana and Kazan officially became twin cities.
In his turn, Rustam Minnikhanov thanked Kazakhstan leadership for support in organizing Days of the Republic of Tatarstan in Kazakhstan.
On 16 May, speaking at a meeting in the Government House of the republic held by the regional Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin with participation of the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the Minister of Agriculture and Food of the republic Marat Zyabbarov reported that the sowing of spring crops is in full swing in the republic with 1m 38 thousand hectares or 61 per cent of the planned have been sown.
On May 14, on the sidelines of the XVII International Economic Forum “Russia-the Islamic World: KazanForum”, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin and Head of the Federal Service for Accreditation Dmitry Volvach signed an agreement on interaction and cooperation in the development of the halal industry.
On May 14, Prime Minister of Tajikistan Kokhir Rasulzoda, who arrived on a working visit in Kazan to take part in the events of the XVII International Economic Forum “Russia-the Islamic World: KazanForum”, was met by Prime Minister of the republic Aleksey Pesoshin and other officials at the Kazan International Airport.
On 9 May Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin took part in a ceremony of laying flowers to the monument “The victorious soldier” dedicated to the celebrations of the Day of Victory in the Great Patriotic War (WW II) 1941-1945 and held at Arsk cemetery in Kazan.
