On September 20, during his visit to Kazakhstan, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov met Kazakhstan Prime Minister Karim Masimov at the Government House of the state.

Karim Masimov welcomed Rustam Minnikhanov and members of Tatarstan delegation.

Rustam Minnikhanov, in his turn, expressed his gratitude for holding Days of the Republic of Tatarstan in Kazakhstan and thanked Kazakhstan President Nursultan Nazarbaev for his attention to Tatarstan.

“Our relations are developing in the context of relations between Russia and Kazakhstan and heads of two countries. We are becoming closer, and the current visit proves it,” Rustam Minnikhanov said.

Tatarstan President also noted successful work of Consul General of Kazakhstan in the Republic of Tatarstan and introduced recently appointed plenipotentiary of the republic in Kazakhstan Rustam Timergaliev.

“We have come with a large business delegation. I would like to thank Akim of Astana Imangali Tasmagambetov for organizing the business forum with the participation of heads of Tatarstan enterprises,” Tatarstan President added.
