22 September 2014, Monday
On September 22, Tatarstan Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov introduced a new chief to the staff of the Tatarstan Wildlife Protection and Management Department. Feodor Batkov, the former deputy chief of the Department, has been appointed to the position.
The Department’s Ex-Chief Dmitry Ivanov will lead Chistopol municipal region of Tatarstan.
Ildar Khalikov thanked Dmitry Ivanov for his successfully heading the Department during 2.5 years, noting that he has experience in administrative work and together with his well-coordinated team he "managed to do quite a lot." He mentioned achievements of the department, including an increase in the number of animals, equipment units (snowmobiles, small vessels) and many more. The department increased its staff, carried out training and implemented a number of innovations, he added.
According to Ildar Khalikov, a ‘test in action’ showed that Dmitry Ivanov would cope with his new responsibilities. “I would like to wish you the best of luck with your new appointment,” he told Ivanov.
Feodor Batkov, who was appointed Acting Chief of the Department, is not a new person for the staff. “You know him well,” Khalikov told the employees. “It is a good example when a chief is promoted from within the ministry. His previous work in law enforcement agencies is appreciated as well.”
There is no sense in giving Feodor Batkov instructions, as he knows the tasks his department faces perfectly well, Ildar Khalikov added.
