Results of 5th contest of social and cultural projects of Lukoil Foundation summarized in Kazan

On September 25, results of the 5th contest of social and cultural projects of Lukoil Fund were summarized in Kazan. Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov, Tatarstan State Counsellor Mintimer Shaimiev, President of OAO Lukoil Vagit Alekperov, Board Chairman of OAO Lukoil and OAO Ritek Valery Graifer, Director General of OAO Ritek Nikolay Nikolaev took part in the event.
About 800 organizations and public associations applied for participation in the contest this year. The contest commission selected 147 projects.
Vagit Alekperov said that the contest is aimed at supporting social projects and increasing transparency of their realization. He thanked Tatarstan leadership for support and congratulated participants of the contest.
Rustam Minnikhanov, in his turn, thanked Lukoil Foundation and Ritek company and personally Vagit Alekperov. Then, Rustam Minnikhanov and Vagit Alekperov handed prizes and diplomas to participants of the contest.
Tatarstan State Counsellor Mintimer Shaimiev, Board Chairman of OAO Lukoil and Ritek Valery Graifer handed in awards to the winners, authors of cultural projects. Valery Graifer said that the intellectual level is very high in Tatarstan, and Lukoil has got many social projects to be released.
Mintimer Shaimiev said, in his turn, that it is a wonderful event connected with efficient activity realized by Lukoil company in Tatarstan. "People like that your production and social activity is aimed at people's wellbeing," he said and thanked company executives for long-term friendship and cooperation.
Director General of OAO Ritek Nikolay Nikolaev handed diplomas to the winners.
On 15 December, speaking at a meeting of the competition committee of the regional public competition “The Manager of the Year” about its results in 2025, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin said that the list of 155 participants (nominees), who are heads of enterprises and organizations from various industries and sectors of the economy, for the competition was formed based on recommendations from regional ministries and departments, city and district municipalities, employers' associations and the Federation of Trade Unions of the republic.
On 6 December speaking at a regional meeting held by the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov in the Government House of the republic with all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the regional Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Utilities Sector Marat Ayzatullin reported about progress in implementation of the of multi-apartment houses capital overhaul programme.
On 5 December, congratulating volunteers with the International Volunteers Day, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Leyla Fazleeva wrote in her address: “
Your boundless kindness, sincere desire to help others and active civic position deserve special recognition and deep gratitude. There are over 5,000 volunteer associations operating successfully in Tatarstan, with a total membership of over 220,000 caring people of all ages and professions. Every year the contribution of volunteers into public life of the republic becomes more noticeable.
On 4 December Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Shamil Gafarov, who is the Chief of Staff of the Office of the Cabinet of Ministers of the republic, took part in a strategic session on the establishment of an inter-university campus in the republic being held at the Kazan Aircraft University on 4-6 December with participation of more than 100 people and more than 40 experts in politics, economy, science, education and industry from all over Russia.
