All-Russia meeting on improving prosecutor’s supervision opens in Kazan

On September 29, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov took part in a plenary session of All-Russia meeting on improving prosecutor’s supervision for execution of federal legislation held in Kazan. The meeting is chaired by Russian First Deputy Prosecutor General Aleksandr Buksman.
Opening the event, Buksman said that prosecutor’s supervision plays a key role in all prosecution activities, and for the last few years activity of prosecution agencies have considerably improved in economic sector. He also noted that Russian citizens appreciate efforts of prosecution agencies on supervision in the sphere of protection of citizens’ rights.
Speaking at the session, Rustam Minnikhanov said that creation of favourable conditions for doing business is one of priority areas of the economic policy of Tatarstan leadership, and prosecution agencies play an important role in it.
The President stressed that prosecutor’s supervision in the sphere of protection of citizens’ rights is the priority area. He noted that restoration of rights is done efficiently and within a short time.
Rustam Minnikhanov wished participants of the meeting fruitful work and making constructive decisions aimed at ensuring reliable protection of citizens’ rights and interests.
Aleksandr Buksman said that Tatarstan is a driving force of Russian economic and social life.
Russian Deputy Prosecutor General Sergey Zaitsev, Head of main department of supervision for execution of federal legislation Anatoly Palamarchuk, Tatarstan Prosecutor Ildus Nafikov, representatives of general prosecutor’s offices, heads of subdivisions of supervision for execution of federal legislation in Russian regions will take part in the meeting.
On 15 December, speaking at a meeting of the competition committee of the regional public competition “The Manager of the Year” about its results in 2025, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin said that the list of 155 participants (nominees), who are heads of enterprises and organizations from various industries and sectors of the economy, for the competition was formed based on recommendations from regional ministries and departments, city and district municipalities, employers' associations and the Federation of Trade Unions of the republic.
On 6 December speaking at a regional meeting held by the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov in the Government House of the republic with all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the regional Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Utilities Sector Marat Ayzatullin reported about progress in implementation of the of multi-apartment houses capital overhaul programme.
On 5 December, congratulating volunteers with the International Volunteers Day, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Leyla Fazleeva wrote in her address: “
Your boundless kindness, sincere desire to help others and active civic position deserve special recognition and deep gratitude. There are over 5,000 volunteer associations operating successfully in Tatarstan, with a total membership of over 220,000 caring people of all ages and professions. Every year the contribution of volunteers into public life of the republic becomes more noticeable.
On 4 December Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Shamil Gafarov, who is the Chief of Staff of the Office of the Cabinet of Ministers of the republic, took part in a strategic session on the establishment of an inter-university campus in the republic being held at the Kazan Aircraft University on 4-6 December with participation of more than 100 people and more than 40 experts in politics, economy, science, education and industry from all over Russia.
